Zane huffed and grinned. "I'm the new boyfriend, ya know, the one who won't get distracted for weeks at a time."
He looked to Rain, avoiding her eyes. "And I've been a vamp for ten years..far from a newborn, but thanks for the vote of confidence."
He looked back to the ex boyfriend with narrowed eyes. "..don't wanna be rude but, she don't want you no more."
In his aggravated state, his southern accent became heavier and his avoidance of using double negatives in his speech went out the window.

"I meant me" Rain said glaring at Rylyn. She put her sunglasses back on so Zane could look at her.
"Hmm do they really want to make me mad" rylyn asked himself as he made the weather change from a non rainy day to a thunder storm.

Svet bit into her lip, her eyes flickered between all the vampires. "If there is any fight that happens, it would be between Rylyn and myself. Zane, I appreciate it, I really do, but this isn't your fight. It's mine. Rain, the same goes for you. I'm older than all three of you put together." She had to point out. She clenched her jaw and then met her eyes with Rylyn.
"I'm sorry for what happened. But it did. And I don't want it to change. Please try to understand me. I know its my fault you are a vampire, and that I broke your heart possibly twice. But its not what it should have been. Once a vampire falls in love--they don't fall out of it. So we never really loved each other." She said, her words were strong and finally showed some confidence.

Zane looked to the sky and then back to Svet, a little storm never scared him.
He listened to her quietly, understanding her need to handle things by herself.
Whatever she decided, he would support her.

Rain nodded also. She hated Rylyn from the start. He was a no good of a vampire and for all she cared he could get ripped apart and burned.
Rylyn heard the truth in her words and it hurt him badly. "I don't mind being a vampire. I thought we would be together forever but whatever. You can have her" Rylyn said backing down and making the weather back to normal. He was starting to like a shapeshifter any way but he wasn't going to tell Svet that.

Svet flinched slightly at his words. She could hear the hurt in his words even if no one else might. She knew him too well. She sighed slightly. "You'll find yours, Rylyn. It wasn't me." She said softly. She looked down at the ground while her hand reached out seeking the comfort of Zane's hand.

"I know I will, i just wished I would have seen this sooner. Or maybe I did adn that's why I left" Rylyn said.
"Then why did you come back if you knew you were going to get hurt?" Rain asked Rylyn.
"I don't know maybe to hear it from Svet say it herself" he said.

Svet spared him a pained smile. "Well then...Goodbye." She said curtly, and then she looked at Rain and nodded her head at her. "Bye, Rain." She turned and faced Zane, her smile still in place as she tugged his hand towards his car. She walked away then with her head down.

RAin waved by and went to go look for Nakuro. "Let her go Rylyn just please, can't you see that she is happy" Rain asked him.
Rylyn nodded. "I can see that" he said and turned and walked away from the school.

Zane tightened his fingers in hers and gave a gentle squeeze to reassure her that he was still there for her.
Reaching the car, he opened the door for her and spoke softly so no one else could hear.
"Ya wanna go? I mean, wanna get outta here?"
He hated that things had to happen like they did but he was not sorry that he was the winner of the best prize ever.
He grinned to her to hopefully make her smile.

Svet bit her lip as temptation presented itself in the form of Zane and his heavenly goodness, but she shook her head faintly. "No we need to stay here for our next two periods. I mean we've made it so far, you know?" She smiled slightly at him. "But there is still some time before out next class so we can still sit in your baby for a while."

He kind of knew that would be the case but he smiled at the prospect of being alone with her for any little amount of time that he could.
He patted the leather passenger seat and nodded.
"Then have a seat m'woman."
He waited for her to slide down into her place before hurrying around the front of his car, (making sure to appear human) and joined her in the driver seat.
Without wasting time, he leaned over the console and kissed her soundly, assuring her that he was still hopelessly devoted not matter who shows up.

Svet grinned lazily at him as he pat the passenger seat. She made herself comfortable while she watched Zane walk around in front of the car and smiled at him as he finally took a seat. She kissed him back just as eagerly, so glad and thankful that he was still here and wasn't judging her like she thought she deserved.
She wound one hand in his hair while the other hand rested on his neck, her thumb absently stroked his jaw.

He grinned slow as he pulled away from her and gazed into her eyes with his golden orbs.
"I think I could do this all the time every day. You taste so sweet, I could almost eat you up."
He snarled and nipped at her neck playfully.

When she opened her eyes after he pulled away, she was immediately drawn into the depths of his golden eyes. They were so wonderful she could look into them forever. The thought made her grin because his over-dramatic tendencies were wearing off on her slightly. But it was also the truth. She could do nothing but touch him and stare into his eyes all day, everyday.
"Me too." She managed to breath out before he nipped at her neck, which caused her to shiver and let out a slight moan from the bite. She twisted her neck slightly so she could gently pinch the skin on his neck with her teeth. "You taste wonderful." She breathed against his neck.
