Zane looked confused as the girl approached and even more confused at the strange request.
Doing as he was told however, he looked away and waited patiently for an explanation.
He was none too thrilled with the fact that they had been diverted form his goal of sitting alone in the car.

"It's her power." Svet explained to him, giving him an apologetic look. "You'd fall in love with her if you'd look into her eyes, and well I just don't like that at all." She said, taking a stab at some humor.
"Anyway, Rain, this is my boyfriend, Zane, he moved here with Kaleb, that lawyer Alice was talking about a few months ago. Zane, this is one of those newer Cullen's. She's marrying Nakuro, who just moved here as well." Svet smiled through the introductions but she was slightly worried at what Rain would say to Zane about the whole 'boyfriend' thing.

Rain took off her sunglasses and blinked. "Nice too meet you Zane, yeah for some reason all Alice talks about is you guys, so your Svet's new boyfriend. ABout time you moved on from Rylyn he was bad news" Rain said all at once. "Yeah, I also have blue eyes instead of topaz eyes too."

Zane extended his hand to shake Rain's hand but still did not meet her eyes.
"Wow, pretty cool talent..and yeah, I'm her boyfriend, so yeah, I hope you don't mind that I don't look you in the eye, no offense. "
He looked to Svet and grinned, liking the way she had immediately introduced him as her boyfriend.

"Nice too meet you, don't worry I have a finace any way. And trust me I don't want Svet to get mad at me for making you fall in love with me" Rain said shaking his hand. "Trust me a lot of boys here fall for me when I take my sunglasses off."

Svet grinned faintly at Zane, glad that he wasn't being....difficult with Rain. On some level she thought he wouldn't believe her and look anyway.
"Yes, well I only just got him, and I don't like the idea of him not being mine." Svet said possessively, but still with a smile in her voice as she wound her arm around his neck and pulled him into a loose headlock.
"Anyway, how is the wedding plans going?"

He laughed at the headlock and grabbed her around the waist as if he where going to body slam her.
He waited though as Svet asked about the wedding.
Did that mean that he would have to dress up in a suit if Svet invited him to go with her to it?

"School is the only thing that is keeping me and Nakuro away from Alice. I tried telling her we don't have a date yet and that I don't want it to be formal. You know how I am I like rock and roll and deffinately not frills" Rain said and laughed at the two.

Svet chuckled faintly at Zane, wondering if he would actually body slam her. Not that she was opposed to wrestling with him. Not at all. She just didn't think a parking lot was the best place.
"But you know how Alice gets. And I think she wants to add in some Japanese stuff because of Nakuro and his traditions and stuff." Svet said smiling faintly at Rain. "I think you should sit her down, maybe have Emmett restrain her, and talk to her about your wedding and how you want it. You know? I mean, because she started doing that and I just told her straight out, 'Alice I appreciate all of this, but its going to be a completely vampire wedding so WHAT is the point of ice scupltures and food arr--" Svet broke off as she realized what she was talking about, her mouth completely got away from her. She shifted a little uncomfortable.

Hearing Svet's talk of weddings, he froze and released her. He pulled out of the headlock and looked to her a little wearily, his hair mussed and standing on end.
"You..uh...you're getting married? But I thought..."
He pointed silently between he and Svet questioningly.

Rain sifted her eyes. "Yeah maybe I could do that" she nodded her head up and down then she got a familiar wiff of someone who cause trouble. "Uh oh I think I smell Rylyn I know I could smell him a mile away. Zane.." Before she could finish Rylyn walked up to Rain.
"Hello Rain and hello dear" Rylyn said glareing at Zane, "I see your talking about our wedding."

Svet shook her head several times. "No, not anymore. I was talking about how she was. And then I called it off after he--" she trailed off after the wind shifted and she caught wiff of him. Her eyes widened again as backed up slightly. Her eyes zeroed in on the vampire, blinked and looked again. She could hardly believe he was back.
She shook her head at his words. "I don't want to get married anymore. Not since you abandoned me."

Zane seemed to relax a little as Svet explained about Rain's wedding and her once upon a time looming nuptials. The peace was short lived however with the arrival of another male vampire.
He narrowed his eyes as the man spoke of the wedding as if it were still in the works. He held his tongue however until Svet made it clear that the wedding was off.
So this must be the ex-boyfriend that Svet said might mess up his car. Zane smirked.
"So why don't you just go back the way you came."

Svet looked at Zane thankfully, she wasn't sure how he would react to this. But she was very glad to see that he had understood what she had said and meant. There was nothing between her and Rylyn, at least that was how she felt, and the wedding was most certainly off. She even smiled a little at him and then she looked back at Rylyn, her face becoming serious again.

"I'm sorry I abandoned you. But I was hunting following the most wonderful smell ever. And excuse me who are you" Rylyn asked pointing to the guy.
Rain was getting so mad at Rylyn. "Rylyn leave before a newborn kicks your butt" she growled. She could tell Svet was happy with Zane.
