He could tell that she was uncomfortable with the subject so when she changed it, he took the hint. He was glad she told him but he also was sure that she was beating herself up still over something she really couldn't help. He was also glad that he had never given into that human curiosity. Sure he had plenty of girlfriends when he was human, but none of any consequence since the change. He spent most of the last ten years just learning how to control himself around them. He caught the keys and slipped out of the passenger side. He was sure to lock the car when they were both away from it. Who knows..maybe crazed boyfriend would return. He didn't want the car trashed...at least..he didn't wanna make it easy for him. Looking to the house, he too could hear the murmur of voices inside. Even that made him excited. He had never been around so many vampires together in one place. It actually made him yearn for home...the human one. Oh well, he would make due he supposed. Right now Svet wanted to be left alone so he would oblidge..his own company excluded of course. "So spider woman...which room is yours?" He looked up to the tall windows above them and grinned.

"The only one without a light on." She responded thickly, she was happy to see he wasn't pressing for more information or being nosey. It was a nice gesture on his part to keep silent. She smirked at him before she ran forward, and very much like Spiderman, she climbed up the wall like a ladder. She threw open her window and rolled across the hard wood, making room for him, she threw the clothes Alice had deposited for her on the arm chairs into the closet and shut the door, she went to her Plasma and flipped it on, some random Tv show was on but she didn't pay attention to it, she was looking at her collection of video games-- it looked more like a store really-- the shelf was six feet wide and went all the way up to the high ceiling. She owned all the good video games known to man, a fifth of them weren't even in English. She pursed her lips as she looked through the collection.

He smirked a grin as he watched her then gave her a moment before following up the wall. Slipping over the window sill as she closed her closet door, he laughed. "Tidying up?" He joined her at the wall of video games and whistled low. "And I thought I was a gaming freak." He rested his hands on his knees as he bent to read most of the titles. With a quirk to his brow he pulled one off the shelf and held it with the front facing her. "Viva Pinata?..that's a little...young for you aint it?" He snickered as he put it back and then quickly grabbed another title with excitement. "Hey! Spongebob!"

Svet rolled her eyes at him. "Alice." She explained in that one word, saying it all in her tone. She grinned faintly at his 'compliment.' "Passes the time." She responded as she looked at her list over his shoulder, but she honestly didn't need to, the top was her absolute favorite catagorized in order of what she played the most and closer to the bottoms were the ones she played when she needed to forget life--such as Viva Pinata and Sponge bob.
"Hey! They are very relaxing." She commented as she folded her hands across her chest. "No need to make fun of me." She said with a sigh, she slid into one of the black leather arm chairs and flicked the lever letting the recliner out as she looked at the screen. "Just pick one--doesn't matter which, you'll lose in the end."

He looked over his shoulder with a frown. "Hey, wasn't making fun...I like Sponge Bob thank you very much!" He slid it back into it's place however and retrieved Mass Effect. "Let me dazzle you with my skills." He put the game in and moved toward her. Instead of taking the empty chair however, he scooted and pressed his way in beside her so that they both now occupied a single lazy boy. To maneuver the controller, he boldly put an arm around her shoulder so he could easily hold it with both hands. The only drawback was that it was just below her chin. "Sorry, I won't hit you with it I promise."
He liked the way she felt next to him more than he would ever admit.

Svet rolled her eyes at him slightly. She liked Spongebob, a little--enough to keep it, but the constant laughter grated on her nerves and a video game just wasn't fun with the sound off. She was surprised when his body nudged hers into the side of the recliner and she would have blushed, had her heart still been beating. She gaped at his boldness and some how...appreciated it. She shifted her weight and dropped one of her legs over his so she wasn't as squashed and threw a grin in his direction. Her eyes widened, however, as one of his arms encased her and she instinctively looked away, embarrassed again. But, once again, in a good way.
"I didn't think you'd pick the alien and spaced video game. You strike me as more of a anime action game." She said, with a small laugh, she looked at the controller that was pretty close to her face. "But if you somehow manage to hit me with it, I'll call Emmett up here." Svet threatened, she heard his booming laughter floors below them and she chuckled.

He had but one regret. If Emmett could hear them then Edward could read his thoughts...and right now..with Svet so close...his thoughts were not very gentleman like. He cringed as his mind wandered against his will and he half listened for footsteps. "I uh..yeah...don't worry, I won't. I don't wanna mess with Emmett." He let out a slow breath. "And...no, not a huge Anime fan..though..I was a Gotchaman geek for years. I'm more of a slasher guy..but Mass Effect has some amazing human qualities..even in it's alien love scenes." The grin turned absolutely wicked and again...no brownie points with Edward.

Svet snorted and rolled his eyes, since no one had come up to them to yell or throw things, Svet figured they were ok with what the two of them were doing-- Edward was probably with Bella in their house, so she didn't have to worry about his disapproving look she knew he would give her for thinking some of the things she was thinking.
She rolled her lips inwards slightly and then she barked a laugh. "I completely forgot about that in the game! I got so much crap for playing the game." She laughed, "You would pick one of the only games that has sex in it." She nudged him playfully with her elbow.

He wiggled a brow. "Hey I ameternally trapped in the body of a seventeen year old man. I'm in my prime for the rest of aaaaaallll of time." He let his eyes rest on hers for a moment, grinning lazily. "what's the matter? Too much in your face action for one day?" Slowly, he pulled his eyes away from her and began creating his own version of John Shephard. When he had finished, the character looked amazingly like himself..only older and with a scar across his cheek. (will have to scoot soon )

"Oh please, child." Svet rolled her eyes, "I could take anything you dish out." She said leaning closer to him, "An-ny-thing." She repeated slowly. She relaxed back into his side with a contented sigh, forcing herself to keep her thoughts PG. She was a teenager at heart as well--maybe a younger one, but a teenager nonetheless.
"Nice." She commented at his profile character, "You forgot the goofy smile." She whispered to him.
(meh too)

He smirked and rolled his own eyes. "Yeah whatever." and then Chuckled at the goofy grin comment. For a while he was silent while he led his Commander through planet after planet until he was deemed the first human Spector. Finally he looked back to her and put the controller down to his lap. "Yah know, you're alright...for a girl." Catching her head in a light head lock, he brought his lips close and kissed her temple lightly. "Thanks for letting me monopolize your xbox..I guess you can have a go." He winked and offered the controller to her.
(guess it's lights out..check your PM, hope to see you later on today ::looks at the time::..3:19am..dawn comes early lol)

(heh, you got an hour on me. See ya!)
Svet rolled her eyes at him but didn't deem it retort worthy and she settled into the silence, after a while she faked a yawn when he appropriated Spector. "Took you long enough." She said. She was about to say more, but she was effectively silent as he caught her head in his arm. She was about to pull out of it and put him in a loose arm bar, but the lips on her temple caught her off guard and she let out a pretty light and giddy laugh. She cleared her throat as she bounced out of his hold--missing the warmth, but she didn't want to play that particular game-- and stood in front of the shelf. She climbed up a few until she could reach the top row and plucked one out. She smiled as her eyes looked at the green zombie hand on the cover. "Gratuitous zombie blood. Yummy." She said sarcastically as she replaced the game in the console. She smiled faintly at him. "Ya know, you aren't that annoying....for a boy." Svet quipped as she settled back into the chair, with her legs off one and and her back and bottom resting on the space she was once occupying. She grinned at him slightly.
"And I don't mind, you make funny faces when you concentrate." She told him with a smile. "And I'm sure my Xbox doesn't mind. It sees enough of me anyway." She rolled her eyes at how much of a gaming nerd she was.

]He watched her slyly as she slipped away and scurried up the game shelf. His eyes widened slightly at her choice and he found it oddly ironic that she would choose a game called "Left for dead" after the story that she had told him earlier. He chuckled silently to himself, it wasn't worth mentioning. He too missed the warmth and was glad that she chose to return beside him It was a good sign that when he kissed her, she had not broken his nose. It surprised him to realize that the small peck he had given her was the first time he had kissed a vampire...the first kiss in 10 years that had not involved the taking of someone's life.
That thought caused a slight furrow to his brow and a moment of contemplative silence..unusual silence for Zane.

Svet led her character through buildings, blindly blasting away zombies and setting them on fire as she made her way through the check points. She glanced at Zane from the corner of her eye as she healed one of the fallen computer players. She raised and eyebrow, "If you find the meaning of like in the hardwood, be sure to tell me 'cause I want to know." She said sarcastically, making it to the checkpoint. The loading screen flipped up and then she was back to killing zombies.
Svet kept her eyes trailed on the screen and she was glad she had the game to distract her hands so she didn't touch the spot where she could still feel his lips on her forehead. It felt better than she had thought the affectionate contact would and it was only slightly irritating to her. She gnawed on her lip as a zombie got another one of the members of her party. "Stupid unobservant humans." She rolled her eyes.

He huffed a sarcastic laugh but pulled his golden eyes from the floor to fix onto the flashes of blood and gore on the screen. Although it may have looked it, he saw none of it as he mentally ran through the kisses he had given over the years. Not all of them had been just to feed.
There had been some, some of them more than pretty, that had actually held his attention for more than the time it took to woo them into a false sense of security so he could take what he needed.
He had been careless with the bodies though at first. Careless or maybe..disgusted with himself. After the crazed slaying of the first few months as a newborn, he wearily found that he didn't like the killing part. He would lay his victims gently to their beds or to the ground and leave them. Not bothering to hide the heinous act. It was the trail of bodies in Europe that had caught the attention of the old Italian geezers. Thank God Kaleb had swooped in.
He owed a lot to that prim and proper stuffy. Kaleb showed him the right way to do it...make it look like an accident..choose less innocent victims. That part had been harder than he thought. The women were older and much less attractive.
Zane hated biting men but would in a pinch. The bite had always been more sensual to him and he found it nauseating to do that to a dude. When Kaleb came to him and told him of his choice of a vegetarian lifestyle, it seemed to make sense though..it took Zane a little longer to accept.
He blinked realizing that he had let his mind ramble and looked to Svet. "Stupid humans." He mumbled the words almost Zombie-like.
