"In Forks?" Svet asked with a snort as she turned the ignition. The car pulled to life and Svet's grin broke into more of a smirk. Best idea ever.
"There are a few very pretty rocks to stare at. And a cave too, whoo." She rolled her eyes. "The only thing that Fork's has going for it is the rain, we get to mingle with humans during the day--but even that get's boring." She said with a shrug. "I played video games for a while until that pixie kicked me out." She shrugged faintly as she pulled the car out of the parking lot like the school was about to explode, she tore down the main road and to the highway.
Svet grinned crookedly at him. "I do believe you are trying to impress me?" She asked and tilted her head to the side, "Or at least not appear to be a total wanker." She thought as she led the beautiful engine off an exit to one of the hunting trails. "I've got news for you, kid." She said turning to look at him. "I'm getting to my three hundredth year mark, and guess what? I'm still a kid at heart. It didn't wear out for me and don't feel bad if you don't grow up to be the man your sire is or Carlisle. They are centuries old--older than me. And who wants to read books all day, any way?" She asked rhetorically. "Hell, I didn't even get to have a child hood... Having an eternity to do what I want has gone to my head, I daresay."
"Georgia doesn't really have dense forests, I imagine, just rednecks with over grown yards, right?" She flashed as smiled as she pulled the car off the high way and down a poorly paved road, using her ultra wonderful reflexes to avoid all potholes.

Zane gripped the side of the leather seat tight trying not to be tossed about the cabin like a rag doll. He would put on his seat belt but what would be the use. It was doubtful he would be injured in a car crash. Other than anchoring himself, he seemed not to be concerned with the speed or stunt driving. He seemed deeper into the conversation, a crease furrowing his brow.
"I've never thought much about what I will eventually become. I suppose that If I did turn out to be like Kaleb it wouldn't be quite so bad. He's not a bad man, most of his kills deserved what they got and now...I think he's been a vegan for a couple of years. It's hard to keep track sometimes." He did not mention his own feeding and he wondered if she would notice. "I know that he thinks highly of Carlisle."
Laughing softly, he turned back to watch the winding hunting road. "...and you're wrong about Georgia..we have a lot of trees. But yeah..there's a lot of junk cars sittin' under a lot of those trees."
The grin had returned as he reached up to grab the handle at the top of the door.

Svet made a noise in her throat. "I'll never have that option, you know?" She asked, her tone was quiet compared to her previous boisterous tone. "I'm forever stuck in this body of a malnourished fifteen year old--" She broke herself off as he anger bubbled to the surface. It was always there, but it was really no one's fault. She let out a short breath. "Your Kaleb seems to be like Carlisle in some ways, he's really found his niche." She smiled pathetically. "I've slipped up a few times in this new diet, I'll admit. The lure is pretty powerful, I admire the Cullen's strength. And that Edward? He was able to snuggle and lay next to his singer for years before the change happened! They truly are an amazing--" She broke off again.
The care stopped abruptly and she put it in park, pulled out the keys and tossed it to him. "I hope you can keep up." She smiled as she slid out of the car. As soon as the door was shut behind her she was off into the woods.

He watched her as she ranted and understood her pain. Would anyone ever really take him seriously, he was after all stuck in the body of a 17 year old? He listened in amazement as she spoke of the Cullens. Maybe one day he could be that controlled.
Barely giving him time to catch the keys before she was off into the Forest, he growled with a grin and activated the locks and alarm before the chase was on.
Sprinting like a gazelle, he soared over fallen trees and shrubs until she was in sight. "You can't shake a stalker that easily ya know?" He shouted to her retreating back.
"Besides, I need help with English Lit!" He couldn't help but laugh, the rush of the chase was exhilarating.

Laughter erupted from her throat as she heard his words behind her. He was pretty fast, but she wasn't even flat out running yet. "So you need me to teach you to read?" She asked with another laugh as she tore in a different direction, jumping up high in the air to the tree tops she jumped from one tall pine to another.
"You'll have to catch me to get my help, Mr. Stalker!" Her voice called down from the trees in a laugh. She was running on her excitement and she felt happier than she had in a long time, it was definitely the right choice to bring him to the middle of no where, so they could have fun instead of something human. Again; best idea ever!

The crooked grin turned downright nasty as he watched her leaping from tree to tree. The girl had no idea who she was messing with. Like an arrow shot from a bow, he tore upward and kicked himself up and forward with perfect balance and maneuvering. Reaching the very top of the pine, he leaned forward as much as he could without snapping the top out of it and spoke in a low growl. "Conjugating verbs ain't what I had in mind but if you insist...shall we do it in Latin? Amo, Amas Amat...Amamus, Amontus Amant."
He swayed closer with the wind and took the opportunity to inhale her almost human like scent. He had to admit..it was somewhat intoxicating at times.

( I would reply with a witty Latin Remark, but seeing as I have forgotten everything I learned in my Latin class, I will just pretend)
Svet snorted. "When speaking another language, Mr. Stalker, one must use the accent of the language. You can't butcher the lovely lilt of Latin with your Georgia twang--even it if is just Conjugating verbs. But how are your declensions?" She asked with a laugh as she kept weaving her way around the trees, keeping the same distance between them.
"You'll have to do better than that!" She called out in a voice almost close to singing.

(sok, its the only one I remember lol, I HATED Latin and only took it one semester..I had to cheat is the only way I passed from then on it was three years of Spanish lol)
He laughed behind her as he followed her much like two squirrels at play.
" Aw come on! you know everything sounds better with a southern accent! It's Kings English woman! Besides who would want to declension Love anyway?"
He didn't care if that was the proper use of the word or not, he was having a blast chasing froggy. So much fun in fact that he completely forgot that there was somewhere else they should have been. Skipping class on your first day of school...not a good thing.
"Hey quick britches..what's for dinner 'round these parts?"

Svet rolled her eyes. "I strongly disagree. A rose by any other name may smell just as sweet-- unless it's from the south!" She cackled as she continued to move from him, moving closer to the ground for her next trick. "You are coming off as very intelligent, by the way." She told him sarcastically with another laugh.
"For dinner? Well I do believe we have lions and bears, and deer. Let's not forget the chicken of game!" She rolled her eyes. "As of now we are far into bear territory, if you're hungry you poor baby." She cooed, standing still on a branch not ten feet from the ground, she watched him with a smile as he got closer. Yes, the position was just perfect.

He grinned as he decended, his eyes on her. "I try..I do my best. I've always found however that intelligence is merely a state of mind."
Narrowing his eyes he could see that she was up to something but wasn't quite sure what. "Bear sounds awesome and I could go for two or three."
He watched her intently as he moved down closer to the forest floor, ready for an ambush if that was her plan.

Svet smirked as he got closer. She crouched and as he got close enough she sprang from the branch, the output of her spring left the branch shaking violently back and forth. She arched in the air, just below him, spinning in a circle to further her decent she hit the ground squarely on her feet. Thank you, trigonometry. She grinned as she took off running, her nose leading her towards food, and food that day was a large grizzly bear.
"You have to be quiet now, young one." She taunted over her shoulder as she saw the very, very fresh bare prints in the ground of the bear she was stalking.

He watched her with wonder and felt the actual change in his eyecolor as the scent of the bear drifted over him. Not nearly as nice as human but warm just the same.
He said nothing as he followed her tracking, the animal instinct fully taking over. With any luck there would be more than one. He would have to be careful this time not to make a mess of things. Kaleb had scolded him for ruining the nice wool coat he had given him upon the arrival in Forks.
"Who's going to believe that the blood on your jacket is from a hunting trip? Looks more like a murder."
Zane had smirked but knew his sire to be right. He would be more careful this time..at least it's what he told himself.
(I really hate to but I have to hit the sack Thank you so much for the RP this is awesome )

(I had fun to, we can pick it up some other time, Good night)
Svet crouched, smelling the air she kept running forward, the back of the beast was in her sight and she sprank, arching perfectly to collide with the bear. She broke its neck immediately, tearing her teeth into the dead bear she drank her fill, glad that she didn't go hunting that weekend or she wouldn't have been thirsty at all. She drained the bear completely, cleaning her lips with her tongue she turned and faced the boy, having forgotten all about him. "Oops. Sorry. I didn't meant to take this one all on my own, you can have the next one, promise" She grinned.

His black eyes watched her take the kill but before she could finish speaking he had caught the scent of something else..something..faster. The scream of the mountain lion only confirmed his intuition as he closed the distance.
He pounced like a panther, knocking the big cat from the tree and rolled with it to the ground, claws and teeth nashing. Both Vamire and beast landed with a thud to the forest floor but only one was still moving. With his teeth clamped to the throat of the feline, he drank until there was no more to have and then laid the body of the once great cat into the mossy grass. It was almost a shame to have to take the life of such a noble creature when there were men out there doing the same to innocent women and children. Men who deserved to have their throats ripped out and their life force taken.
The thought made his breathing quicken and the taste of human blood almost drove him to frenzy yet again. Zane could feel himself loosing control of his vegetarian mindset and began the deep breathing excercizes Kaleb had taught him. The breath of course did nothing for his body but his mind grasped the concept of control.
Slowly his eyes turned from red, to black to a deep golden hue and he gave himself cudos for the effort. Suddenly remembering that he was not alone before, he looked around for Svet. Had she followed him?

Kaleb placed the phone back to the receiver and looked at his watch with a frown. So Zane had not returned to class after lunch. He wondered what could have happened to cause him to leave the school early. Looking up to the client who was busy filling out paperwork, he smiled and excused himself from the office. Taking out his cell, he dialed Zane's number and waited for the boy to answer anxiously as he moved to the back hallway.
Before he could lay eyes on Svet, the sounds of his cell phone brought Zane back to an even closer reality. Patting the pockets of his jeans, he found the sleek silver phone and answered it low and whispered. "Yeah?"
"The polite answer is Hello Zane...where are you? Why aren't you at the School?" Kaleb could feel himself growing impatient with the boy but he resolved to hear his excuse.
The sound of Kaleb's voice made him cringe slightly. Busted. "Hunting Kaleb..I...had to get away yanno? I met one of the Cullen's uh...cousins I think and she and I...well..we went hunting. It was the only safe thing to do for lunch." He tried to make the excuse sound lagit...how could the old man argue with the safety of the other students.
Kaleb frowned. The boy had a point. He should have thought of that. "I...well done Zane. I'm sorry that I didn't think of that sooner. Cousin you say? Is it the Russian girl? Carlisle had mentioned her."
Zane looked around for Svet. "Yeah...yeah her name's Svet..it's short for..." What was it short for again? "...something a whole lot longer."
Kaleb had to smile a little, the boy was trying. Perhaps being around other vampires would help him grow. Kaleb knew that he did not give Zane enough credit at times but he sure as heck didn't want a repeat of the Italy fiasco. He doubted Zane had realized how close he had come to being executed by the Volturi. "Very well...careful in your hunt..and bring your new friend to meet me if you can. Zane I'm...I'm glad you've made a friend. I hope it eases your transition here."
Zane grinned a little guilty. He had gotten away with the excuse. "Thanks Kaleb...yeah I will. Look I gotta go."
"Goodbye Zane, see you soon." Kaleb closed his cell and paused in the hallway. It was he first time in weeks that Zane's words had not been laced with sarcasm. Perhaps things would work in Forks after all. Returning to this office, he smiled at the client and held up his cell. "Sorry about that...kids." The man nodded and slid the papers across the desk to Kaleb.
