Ted rolled his eyes at her and nudged her gently with his shoulder. "I think you cook just fine already. I love your cooking." He told her with a truthful smile.

Kerrigan tried to hide her smile, but it broke through anyway. She beamed up at him, her eyes seeming to sparkle. Even though she would never admit it, those small compliments he gave her did big things to her ego. It made her feel...appreciated.
"Thank you," she said, leaning her head against the shoulder he nudged her with.

"No problem." He told her, and meant it. Any time she'd hit on her ego or act self-conscious, Ted had no problem stepping up and tell her how wonderful and how much of a beautiful person he was. He knew he felt that way because he was head over heals for her, but that's how he thought and saw her and he'd tell her that every minute of the day. "Hey, did you know I love you? I just wanted you to know." He told her by whispering into her ear.

Kerrigan set her plate in the sand, barely touching her food. She wasn't very hungry anymore, and all she really wanted to do was cuddle up next to Ted. When Ted spoke in her ear, her heart seemed to inflate in her chest, and it felt like the only thing keeping it from bursting out was her ribs. Kerrigan smiled, looking up into Ted's eyes.
"Y-yeah." she whispered, "I think you may have mentioned it."

Ted smiled as she cuddled into him, he set his plate down in the sand next to hers. He frowned at the amount of food that was still left on hers. He knew not to push it though, she was very stubborn and if she didn't want to eat then he wasn't going to get her to eat. He wound his arms around her, holding her close and beamed down at her. "That's good, 'cause its very true."

Kerrigan smiled. "Well, did I mention that I love you?" she said before giving Ted a chast kiss on the cheek. "Because it's very true," she finished, tapping him on the nose with her index finger.

"Hmm. I never quite thought about it like that before." He looked thoughtfully up at the sky, his toes dug in the sand a little. He glanced sideways at Kerrigan with a beaming smile on his face. "I like the way you think--well love it actually." He smiled again and kissed her on the cheek, a little more forward than her sweet little quick one. He had no sense of shyness around his brothers, after sharing their minds in his not-human-form, and since him and Kerrigan were definitely an 'item', she would just sorta have to get over it. He smiled innocently at her.

Kerrigan's face flamed with a blush, but couldn't help but smile up at him. She wished that she wasn't so opposed to PDA as she was, but could he really blame her? Only days ago she had even refused to speak to anyone, including family, and now they were acting all lovey-dovey in front of his family. Again the powerfulness of her imprint dazed her, how much of a change it had done to her personality. Perhaps that is why it took Ted and her so long to realize how important they were to each other. Maybe she was so against human kindness that it had delayed the reaction. Kerrigan found herself thanking the vampire for stopping her in the woods because then she may not have gotten to know Ted enough, to allow her heart to thaw out enough for him to be able to love her.
By this time Kerrigan had remained silent, staring at the dancing flames in front of her. She was too deep in thought to think about the others as her head rested against Ted's shoulder. She was thinking of her other possible outcomes. If it weren't for Ted, there would have been no one to stop her mother, if it weren't for Ted, vampires would have gotten to her, and if it weren't for Ted, she would have never of known what it was like to love. She was grateful for him, and for everything he had given her. She had a life now, something that she would have never had before. So she wrapped her arms around his waist and held him tightly.

There was something in the air around them. Like some zip-locked, air-tight bubble around them that set them away from everyone else, if just for a few minutes. To Ted, it really did feel like it was just the two of them, like their first 'date', a lazy smile spread across his face. He nostalgically recalled the last few days, mostly in wonder. So many big--and small--things happened in that short time, it was nearly insane to think about. His head leaned back slightly, his eyes on the sky. His mind tried to come up with a good explanation for it all. Even that crazy woman Kerrigan was related too. He probably couldn't have dreamed up a better story himself, he may have an imagination, but not something that crazy.
He felt a long and comfortable sigh blow out his lips and then he was back to smiling softly. Honestly, what did he not have to smile about? He had Kerrigan, and that literally was all that mattered to him.
When she laid her head against his shoulder, he turned his head slightly to the side and pressed his lips to her hair. He wanted to say something, to put words to the feeling in the air around him, but he couldn't think of anything good enough. He decided the silence between them held the message enough.

She sat like that for a few minutes, content with their silence and the occasional banter between Ted's family- she still couldn't bring herself to call it her family. But after a while the silence became too much. She found herself longing to hear his voice, and it made her feel very odd to feel that way- but in a good way.
"You know..." she started, a little bit embarrassed about bringing the subject up. "I... I was thinking... I have always been planning to move out of my apartment..." she said, and though her words were strong, her heart fluttered with nervousness. Would he refuse? Was all of this too much?
"I was thinking that... if it wasn't too much... I could, you know, move my stuff and sell it when you go to the reservation..." She quieted then and sat still, rigid, as she waited for him to respond.

Ted felt himself drifting off to sleep in the comfortable silence. His head lulled to the side, his eyes shut. He caught himself before he fell over though, how embarrassing would that be? He bit into his lip to hold the laughter in at himself. When Kerrigan spoke, it was slightly unexpected and it caused him to jump. He glanced sideways at her, to see if she noticed his reaction. She seemed too embarrassed about whatever she was thinking. He wished he could see her face. She was so cute when she was embarrassed, like when she ducked her eyes and bit a little on her lip. He smiled just at picturing the face, but then made himself focus on what she was thinking, which made him furrow his brows a bit.
Did she not....His head tilted to the side as he tried to put together what she was saying. She wanted to sell her things and move out of her apartment? .... Ted tilted his head to the other side when she got quite.
"I....thought that was sort-a going to happen anyway? I mean--I thought that was unspokenly established. I mean we've been together for the past week, and you've been sleeping over. I guess I assumed you were going to come with me to the reservation..." He stammered as he voiced his confusion in the matter.

Kerrigan sighed a small breath of relief, hoping he didn't notice.
"Yes, I know. I just wasn't absolutely sure since we haven't really talked about it, but it's a relief to know exactly." She murmured, embarrassed at herself. "I guess I was still worried that you wouldn't want me there for good, regardless of everything that has happened between us." Kerrigan trailed off, a complicated expression on her face. Her head tilted to look at him, her eyes searching for any hesitation, her cheeks flushed. "I was worried that it was more of a spur of the moment answer because of the nerves we were under...silly, huh?" she rambled on nervously, her words pouring out of her mouth without filter.

He kept the smile off of his face pretty well. She was just sooo adorable. He lifted his hand off the ground, shook the sand from it, and then intertwined his fingers through hers. He lifted that hand up and kissed her knuckles. "Well, let it be known that I don't want you more than ten feet away from me--of course I want you to live with me. Especially on the Rez. No random parasites will come out of no where." Ted trailed off, the anger sparked again, but he forced it under control again. He didn't need to get allll worked up. It wasn't a problem anymore. He kissed her on the side of the head.
"Perhaps I should as you formally?" Ted asked, with a tilt of his head. He lifted his arm from around her shoulders and turned to face her completely, both of his hands held on to one of hers and he looked her in the eyes, her eyes were sparkling in the firelight and it looked magical. He forced his thoughts back on track. "Kerrigan, would you like to move in with me?"

He kissed her hand and her head, assuring her that her fears were not a problem. She smiled, one of her mystery dimples making an appearence on her cheek. When Ted asked her "Formally," Kerrigan couldn't help but blush.
"I'd love to move in with you, Ted." and then she leaned up and touched her nose to his. "But my conditions are still standing. I hope you remembered them," she said. Kerrigan leaned her head against Ted's chest and looked out into the fire. She wondered slightly when the elders would start telling stories, but she was content with just sitting here basking in the glow of the bonfire for now.

"Oh um. I know this." Ted said, snapping his fingers. He snapped his fingers, backtracking mentally over the past few days, to the specifications she required. "Neat n' tidy house, no fratboyesque decorating. Kitchen and lavatories are your domain. SO I am to not be in them? But I might add that my cooking is far superior. AND I have to be in bed by ten." He said with a million watt smile.
"Did I get it?" He asked, waiting enthusiastically. If he had a tail at the moment, it just might have been waving.
