"Yum!" Kerrigan said in reply, and wound her warm around Ted's waist as he put one on her shoulders. She laughed quietly at the sight of everyone lining up for food, some cutting in front of others. The warm aroma of hot dogs and hamburgers made her mouth water, and when she got in line with Ted, she couldn't help wanting the line to shorten quickly.

Ted's free hand drummed restlessly on his thigh as they waited for food. He kinda wished they got their earlier so they woulnd't be in the back of the line, but he didn't really regret his alone time with Kerrigan. He unconsciouly placed a kiss on the top of her head while they waited and sighed.

Kerrigan stretched out, balancing herself of one foot, and looked around the line to the food. Her eyes widened at the amount each person was getting. She eased back into line with a frown. "We won't get anything at this rate!" she whispered with a pouty bottom lip.

Ted grinned faintly at what she was doing and he chuckled after she spoke. "It just looks that way, but there will be plenty of food for us too. Emily would never let that happen." He told her confidently.

Kerrigan sighed and leaned against Ted, resting her head against his arm. She closed her eyes as they waited, stepping forward one step at a time as the line shortened. Kerrigan wound her arm around his waist as they waited, wanting to be as close as possible.

Ted smiled, again, as Kerrigan leaned against him and put some of her weight on him. He held her close as they waited and moved only when there was space in the line to move up. And pretty soon it was time for them to grab a plate and pile on the food.
"See, I told you there would be enough for us too." Ted grinned at Kerrigan while he prepared his burgers and hot dogs to his liking.

Kerrigan rolled her eyes and pulled away from Ted so that she could get some of the food, before it really was gone. She took a plain hamburger and a few chips. Small and simple.
"Kay," she said, turning to Ted with her small plate of food.

"Oh I know you're going to get more then that." Emily said from Kerrigan's side. She pursed her lips and Ted sighed.
"Ma, why don't you let her eat what she wants?" Ted nearly whined.

Kerrigan chuckled softly. "It's alright, Emily. I have a small stomach." she said, returning to Ted's side. "I probably won't even finish this," she said, pointing to the hamburger. She looked over at Ted's plate and her brows raised. She still had no idea how he did it.

Ted looked between the two woman and shrugged his shoulders slightly. He knew Kerrigan ate more at home, but he didn't say anything. She was probably not hungry due to nerves. Ted smiled at Emily. "Thanks for the food again, Ma."
"No problem dear, now don't let it go to waste." Emily told him. Ted rolled his eyes, like he ever threw food away.
Ted led Kerrigan over to an empty spot by the fire and dug into his food.

Kerrigan gave a fleeting hand wave to Emily before she followed Ted over near the fire. She sat farther back then Ted did, only because she didn't feel very comfortable being that close to a raging fire. What if the wind blew the flames her way? Or large sparks fell on her clothes, or worse, her hair? She wasn't willing to take that chance.
She sat on a small piece of drift wood and popped a chip into her mouth and then looked at Ted's back. "Ted, come back here!" she yell/whispered. She didn't want him to catch on fire, either.

Ted looked up when she called him and grinned at her. "Yes dear." He grinned at her and then butt scooted backwards to next to her, he made himself comfortable and then pushed a few chips into his mouth. "How do you like the food?" He asked with a small smile.

Kerrigan took a small bite of her hamburger. It was great. "The food is delicious," she replied, taking another bite. Kerrigan scooted down from on the wooden seat and into the sand next to Ted. She leaned her head against his arm as she popped another chip into her mouth. "But you are the expert on culinary expertise, since you eat all the time," she teased.

Ted grinned. "I think Emily is a better cook because she has to cook enough food for six werewolves everyday." He countered and then kissed her on the top of the head before he took another bite.

Kerrigan tapped her chin. "I may need to get some tips from her." she said with a smile. "I mean, if I plan on cooking for you then I'll need to be able to make something edible." She popped another chip into her mouth.
