Ted wound his arms around her waist and when he pulled back his eyes opened slowly. "That's really pretty." He said quietly, "did you just make that up?" He asked, but even if she didn't, it still meant something to him. He was just a big ole' softy that way. When she kissed him again, he followed her lead and kept it slow, and savored it. One of his hands lifted from her waist to hold the side of her cheek with his hand softly.

"I didn't." she replied, pulling back again. She then wrapped both arms around his waist again and rested her chin on his shoulder, loving the feel of his warm body pressed up against hers. "It was just a poem I remembered reading."

Ted made a voice in his throat. "I still liked it." He told her softly as he rested his head on her shoulder. "I love you, Kerrigan." He said, his tone conveyed the emotion.

Kerrigan squeezed him tighter for a moment, kissing him in the crook of his neck. "I love you, too." she said, hoping that he could hear the emotion in her words. She closed her eyes and sighed in contentment. She was being held by the best man on earth, in one of the most wonderful places on earth, feeling the most wonderful emotion on earth. Her life couldn't get any better.

He tingled slightly at the depth he heard in her words, his arms held her tighter reflexively and he also sighed in contentment. He didn't want to move from this moment. He tried to not label it 'magical' but there really wasn't any other way to picture the moment. He smiled to himself and placed a kiss on her shoulder. "I think the food is done now." He murmured, not really wanting to shatter the moment with loud noises.

Kerrigan smiled, "Kay. Let's go. I'm starving." She leaned up and gave him another quick, passionate kiss before she squeezed him with another hug. She then walked around to his back and wrapped her arms around his neck, hoping for a piggy back. "Hoist me up!" she said, a smile in her voice.

"Yes ma'am." He chuckled faintly and wrapped his arms around her legs and hoisted her body up slightly so she'd be more comfortable he turned his head slightly to the side and kissed her arm before he started walking back to the bonfire,which was nearly just a small red glow on the long beach behind them.

Kerrigan closed her eyes and rested her head in the crook of Ted's neck. She loved being this close to him. As long as they were touching she felt unimaginably happy, almost happy enough to hug a random stranger. Almost.
"Mush," she said, and her stomach growled. She giggled softly and kissed his neck. "Please, mush?"

The grin that spread across his face was positively wicked. "Your wish is my command." He chuckled and then took off running, his bare feet dug deeply in the sand as he darted forward quickly, yet he ran smoothly so he wouldn't give Kerrigan whiplash.

Kerrigan laughed as Ted sprinted forward, and she held on tightly so there wouldn't be any chance of falling off. "You should join track," she said, with a smile. then she giggled. "And if you aren't the best, you could always turn into a wolf and eat the opponents."

Ted chuckled. "Sam said I wasn't allowed to." He informed her, "but if I did eat everyone, then I wouldn't win. And someone would call animal control." He paused for second and tried to keep the grin out of his voice. "You wouldn't want me put on the dangerous animal list or euthenized, would you?"

Kerrigan smiled. " Of course not! Then I wouldn't be able to do this." She gave him a peck on the cheek. "And I would also miss you." she admitted, "Just a little bit."

Ted pouted. "Only a little bit?" He slowed down as they were now within human ear shot of the camp fire to a sorta fast walk. He chuckled faintly and removed Kerrigan from his back, turned to face her and then kissed her passionately quickly.

Kerrigan returned his kiss, and then when he pulled away, she leaned back in for another. After the kiss, she then grabbed Ted's hand in hers and smiled, kissing his nose.

Ted smiled into the kiss as she kissed him back after he pulled away. He gave her hand a small squeeze and kissed the tip of her nose after she did the same to him. "Dinner time." He said quietly. He then dropped a hand over her shoulder and led her the rest of the way to the fire, where everyone had formed a line starting at Emily, where there was a table laid out full of food.
