As Kerrigan packed away the last of her things in her beach bag, she began her search for her car keys, lifting up the cushions to her living room couch. She grumbled obscenities under her breath when they were not found. With a sigh, she went into her small kitchen and searched the drawers. Still nowhere to be seen.
"Ugh!" she growled, moving once again back into the living room to check her closet. When the outcome became the same, she walked over and fell back awkwardly onto the couch, since the cushions were still flopped about. With her eyes closed, she rubbed her temples with her fingers and groaned. After one calming breath, she opened her eyes to check the clock on the wall. 11:23. If she wanted to meet Ted on time, she would need to leave soon.
As she dropped her gaze to the coffee table in front of her, she cursed loudly. Her car keys were sitting innocently on the polished wood. "You've got to be kidding me." she snarled, swiping up the keys quickly. She grabbed her newly bought beach bag and dashed out of her apartment door, locking it behind her.
She ran down her apartment's stairs two at a time before reaching the parking lot. It didn't take much time to find her car. Her shiny Ford Mustang GT stuck out like a sore thumb among the other cars. Even thouh she loved her car, she usually didn't like to drive it because of the attention that came with it.
After unlocking the doors, she slide into the black leather interior. She turned the radio on low, just enough to be heard in the background as she drove, and turned the keys in the ignition. The Mustang purred to life, giving a satisfying growl as she revved the engine. She smiled as she exited the parking lot and drove out into the road.

Finding La Push was easier than she thought. All she had to do was follow the highway until she found the exit to the Reservation. She followed the main road, just like Ted said to do, and eventually found First Beach. It was a very beautiful place.
Kerrigan turned down a sandy road until she found a decent place to park off to the side. She checked the clock on the dashboard. 11:52. Perfect.
She grabbed her beach bag before climbing out of the car, sliding on her sunglasses as she did so. It was surprisingly sunny today. Perfect beach weather.
Kerrigan walked along the shore, listening to the ocean birds, and watching the waves calmly lap at the sand. She finally came to a spot, half way shaded with a large piece of drift wood that could be used as a seat. She grabbed a few towels from her bag, and laid them out on the sand. Kerrigan took a hair tie from her wrist, and tied her hair up into a sloppy pony tail before looking around for the man she came here to meet. He was surprisingly absent.
Assuming that he would be here later, Kerrigan dug into her bag until she found what she was looking for. She laid down on one of her towels, leaned back against the salty log behind her, and opened her book of The Swiss Family Robinson before reading.
