Alexandra jogged down to the beach. She wore her favorite brown capris and a pink and green camoflauge t-shirt, along with her old white tennis shoes, now a tinted brown from use. Her usually tied up light brown hair was flapping behind her as she jogged. Her grey backpack rested on her back, not bouncing up and down but snug against her back. Alexandra smiled and took a deep breath as the wind whipped her face. She finally slowed down and plopped down on the beach, panting. She took off her bag and pulled out her water bottle, her book, and a sandwich from home. She wasn't in the mood to go hunt deer in the woods. The sun reflected off her unusual pale skin as she opened her book, Jack London: Tales of the North. She pulled out her bookmark to her favorite story in the book, White Fang. It was ironic that she was a shapeshifter but loved what she was the most: a wolf. She was immensely proud to be somehow "related" the these majestic creatures of the night. Alexandra was reading when she heard voices. She snapped her book shut and looked up, expecting to see that mean group of boys she had seen earlier. They always were here, and always picked on her, calling her "Wolf Girl". The irony. But, it wasn't them. She quickly recognized the couple laying on a blanket. Grinning, she stuffed her book into her bag and ran over to them. "It's nice to see you two again," Alexandra said, smiling halfway. Expecting to see confusion on their faces, she bent over, and with a stick, wrote the same message she had in wolf form: "I hope we meet again someday, friend." (OOC: If you two don't want me to interrupt your little situation, just say so and I can go.

"It would only be blackmail if I let it to be. A lot more....well um, that picture isn't the worst that's been taken. I'll put it that way." He said with a small grin. He looked up when someone walked onto the beach. He honestly had never seen her before, but when the wind shifted and blew her scent in his direction he nodded faintly.
He would have to thank her for helping him, even though nothing really had happened. He raised his hand in a wave. "Nice to see you with clothes on." He snickered to himself, "I'm Ted." He said with a smile, holding out his hand to shake his fellow shapeshifter's hand.
(its fine for now ^_^ up to Kerrigan though)

Kerrigan laughed at his reply. She wondered how bad it must have been if his silly superman pose didn't bother him. She would have to find out, and give him a repeat.
A dark skinned girl walked up to them, and Kerrigan watched as Ted and her greeted each other. "It's nice to see you two again." the girl remarked. Kerrigan was confused, she had never seen this native before.
Kerrigan's eyes widened and a flush burned her cheeks at Ted's first comment, and then her brows knitted in confusion when he introduced himself. He's seen her without clothes, but he doesn't know her!? She was frozen with a expression only explained as horror as she watched the two. But, then the girl picked up a stick, and wrote a familiar message in the sand. 'I hope we meet again someday, friend.'
"Oh!" Kerrigan blurted quietly as realization dawned on her. That made a lot more sense. Other than that, Kerrigan kept quiet. She was still new to interacting with people, and she was unsure what to do, so she listened.

Alexandra laughed at Ted's comment and shook his hand.
"Alexandra," she answered, then stepped back. She turned her grey eyes to Kerrigan and smiled warmly. "I'm a little different then my wolf form, ain't I?" she asked and laughed. She glanced over to Ted. "I'm guessing you told her, huh?" she asked carefully. Since she's still near you. she added silently.

Ted grinned as Alexandra grinned, but he saw the look of horror in Kerrigan's eyes and he was flustered as to why she would look at the girl in such away. But then she read the message in the sand. Oh!, she had exclaimed, what was she thinking? He wanted to know but really couldn't ask.
"Yes, it was hard to get her to listen to proper reason without spilling the beans." Ted replied to her question.

Kerrigan snorted, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. "I would think that after experiencing what I did, It would be rather hard to listen to reason." she defended, sending a small smirk toward the wolves.

Alexandra smiled. She was a little surprised that the girl wasn't afraid, but knew there were some humans out there that weren't afraid of the monsters around them.
"Well, I'm glad you did," Alexandra said to Kerrigan, appreciating her understanding. Suddenly getting embarrassed, she smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry if I frightened you before; I was trying to show you I didn't want to hurt you," she said, remembering only the day before Kerrigan's terrified eyes as she looked at the monsterous wolf in front of her, while she had actually wagged her tail like a dog, trying to be friendly.

"Well you were the one who kept going in the wrong direction. I got a little hasty." Ted said with a small grin, then he looked at Alexandra. "Don't worry, I did the puppy routine as well. As much as I don't want to think about it. " He snorted, with a roll of his eyes, "It is actually pretty effective."

Kerrigan gave a half-hearted smile. "No worries," she said, going for nonchalant. "You did a very good job though, showing that I didn't soil myself." she smirked, smiling at the girl.
At Ted's comment, Kerrigan narrowed her eyes. "I'm sure you would be a bit disoriented, also, if you weren't a seven foot wolf." Kerrigan laughed quietly at Ted's next sentence, remembering how he pranced around like a fawn in a flower covered meadow. "You should have seen it, especially when he tried to stick his tongue at me." she chuckled, taking a sip of her soda. "The key word in that sentence is tried."

Alexandra laughed at the two. They both seemed friendly.
"Yeah, it's annoying having human thoughts and a animal body, especially when you're trying to do something human. It's really frustrating."

Ted puffed up his chest in a moment, "I think I durn near succeeded." He said with a loose grin.
"Or just imagine yourself in a normal conversation and just suddenly loose the ability to speak English."

Alexandra smiled and nodded at Ted's comment. She nodded after Kerrigan's comment too.
"Yeah, I was real desperate for communication. And that was really hard, writing something with my paw. That's why it looked so sloppy," she said and laughed.
Suddenly she heard her name being called in the distance. She groaned; she knew that voice. She smiled apolegetically at Ted and Kerrigan.
"So sorry, it's time for me to run," she said simply. She then ran over into the trees, took off her clothes and stuffed them into her bag, and phased. She picked up her bag in her teeth and trotted out to Ted and Kerrigan. She gave them a wolfie grin, then scooped up her bag and raced towards her name being called.

"She also has the patience to try." Ted said with a shrug. He lifted his head as he heard someone calling her name and a crease began to form between his eyes. Why could he not hear her thoughts yesterday, then, if she was apart of a pack. As far as he knew--and smelled--there was only one pack in La Push and on the Olympic peninsula.
But before he could ask who had called her, she ran into the woods. He heard her change and let out a quiet laugh, whatever it was was urgent, apparently. He watched her come back in her wolf form and gather her things up, he nodded in her direction but then turned his attention back to Kerrigan.
"Well that was pleasantly weird." He commented, shifting through his bag for more food.

As Alexandra made her goodbye, scooped up her things, and ran off, Kerrigan was confused. She had left out of the blue, with no reason or compelment. Had Kerrigan done something wrong? Did she insult her somehow? For this, she wasn't sure.
"Well that was pleasantly weird," Ted commented. Kerrigan laughed, shaking her head. "Really? I would have thought it was normal between you canines." she said. She rolled her eyes as he dug for more food. She was sufficiently stuffed, and he had eaten enough for a small country to survive on for a few days.
