Kerrigan was silent for a second as she stared at Ted, her brows furrowing together before she burst out in violent guffaws. She held her sides together as she shook with laughter. "Oh, god!" she giggled. "You, you know-" she started, unable to finish as she almost fell over in her almost painful giggles.

Ted looked at her for a solid moment, thinking over what he had said and he had no clue how she could have though that was so funny. He sat Indian style facing her with his chin resting in his hand as he watched her almost roll in her laughter. "I'm sorry. I just don't get what's so funny." He said with a small grin. She looked so adorable when she laughed.

Kerrigan did her best to raise her hand, motioning for him to give her a minute. She laughed, tears welling slightly on the rims of her eyes. After a moment, she finally faded into a tolerable chuckle. "Okay, okay," she gasped catching her breath. "You know that commercial with these people that are driving, and they throw their trash out the window?" she asked, giggling. "And there is an Indian out by the road. The trash lands at his feet and he looks up with a tear rolling down his cheek." she continued, her laughter growing. "It's like something about how the planet and stuff, and the Indian is sad because we are ruining the world." She leaned back on her arms.
"So when you put the can in the trash," she said, "I imagined you on the side of a road, with a single tear sliding down your cheek!" she snickered, wrapping her arms around her frame again.

Ted's face was stone still. He knew the commercial which he spoke of. He looked at her blankly for a moment. "Are you done insulting my heritage?" He asked in a calm voice. He was proud of himself for keeping a straight and serious face thus far.

Kerrigan laughed, holding her hands up in surrender. "Hey, calm down there, Four stomachs. No insult intended. I'm down with the Natives." she said, smiling and lowering her hands. "In fact, I may not look it, but I'm a quarter Hupa. It's not a very well known tribe, and I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't heard of it." she said, reaching into her bag and retrieving two more cokes, throwing one in Ted's direction. "But I'm more then positively sure that you can google it if you don't believe me." she smirked, popping the top on her drink and taking a swig.

Ted snorted. "I'm totally kidding." He said with a laugh. "A Hupa? Nice." He said with a grin, catching the soda, he snapped it open and took a long drink. "I'm only half Quilete myself. My mother married outside the tribe, but I had enough Indian blood in me to inherit this super cool ability." He shrugged.

Kerrigan snickered, laying back on her towel and closer her eyes in the sunny contentment. "Wish Hupa could turn into two yard tall wolves." she said, smiling as she rested her head on her arms behind her. "That would be an interesting skill to put on my resume." she mumbled under her breath.

Ted's mask wavered and he snickered and then began to laugh. "I'm just foolin' you." He grinned. "Hupa are you?" He asked with another snicker. "Well truth be told I'm only half Quilete, but I guess half was enough." He said with a shrug.

"Hmm." she replied, falling into the routine of silently listening to the world around her. She did this a lot in her spare time, a habit she had earned during the years. She almost immediately forgot about Ted's presence as she heard the nature sing it's song.

Ted watched her for a moment, eating a sandwich he pulled out of his basket. She seemed to be concentrating on something. He wasn't sure exactly what, but whatever it was, she looked peaceful. Ted raised an eyebrow at her and then pulled his phone and flipped it open quietly, quickly snapping a picture of her with her small smile and distant expression.

Kerrigan wrinkled her nose at the sound of unnatural click. She blinked her eyes open, giving a side long glance at Ted with a cellular phone in his hand. Her eyes widened as everything clicked into place.
"Gimme that!" she said, reaching for his cell to snatch it from his hands. She hated pictures.

Ted held it up and away from her reach. "But it was a good picture." He complained. "It's just the one. Can I keep it if I promise to not take any more?" he pleaded, keeping his phone out of her reach.

Kerrigan scowled, slumping back onto her towel. She mumbled under her breath, scowling at the ocean as she growled about 'inane, teenage dogs' and 'unnecessary technology.' Kerrigan crossed her arms around her chest after taking a violent swig of her soda.
"Fine, but I get to take a picture of you." she smirked, removing a cell phone from her bag, flipping it over.

Ted smirked, hearing her mutterings like she said them in a normal voice. He chuckled as she took her emotions out on her can of soda and then thought if over her negotiations.
"Fine." He grinned turning his head slightly to the side, "Be sure to get my good side though." He said raising his hands in the super man pose, with his left arm extended out above and in front of him with his right arm curled in a flex.

Kerrigan chuckled at Ted, taking the picture. "Oh, very handsome." she chimed, pocketing the cell phone into her bag. "I'll be sure to use that as blackmail, just to let you know." she mused, smirking in his direction.
