Kerrigan scowled at him. I'll show him how much better a 'little human' can really do, she thought.
Her emerald-green eyes widened in fear as she took a quick look behind Ted. Her mouth was gaping like a fish as she froze, her breath catching in her throat.

Ted raised an eyebrow at her, wondering why she looked so smug for a moment, but then the fear that crossed her face made him immediately drop into a crouch in front of her and face what she is looking at. It took him five seconds to realized that nothing was there. He couldn't see anything or hear anything, or smell anything.
"Um?" He asked not dropping his crouch yet.

While his back was turned, Kerrigan grabbed another pine cone and flung it at his head again, hoping this time that he was too distracted to catch it. Oh, this was going to be good...

He heard something flying through the air and he turned to see the pine cone flying through the air. He grinned and caught it, turning to face her he tossed it up into the air and caught it again. "You'll have to be sneaker that that." He said with a wide grin.

Kerrigan scowled at him again, grumbling under her breath. "Stupid doggy reflexes." she mumbled, folding her arms across her chest. She wasn't used to being at such a disadvantage. She was usually the one with the upper hand. Oh, how the tables have turned..., she thought.

"Don't feel bad." Ted said behind a smile. "That would have gotten a lot of other people." Ted said with a smile.

"Sure, sure." she grumbled, standing up and brushing the dry pine needles off of her jeans. "I will get you some time, though." she said with a smile.

"Ok." Ted said with a small laugh. "You can keep on trying." He said with another laugh.

Kerrigan narrowed her eyes at Ted. "I wouldn't get too smug, Wolf boy. Overconfidence will be your downfall." she said, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Before continuing her walk, Kerrigan glanced quickly at a tree, seeing that the moss was growing on the majority of one side, and went south.

"Will it?" Ted asked with his head tilted slightly to the side. "I dunno. I wouldn't really say I have that much confidence." He said, grinning in her direction. "I just have mad skills." He followed along behind her, cheerfully, noticing that she had in fact, gone off in the correct direction this time.

"Mad skills my backside," Kerrigan said, grumbling at his cheerful expression. She would have to carry around whip cream with her now, just in case she came across a sleeping Ted. She smiled, imagining his reaction as he slapped a handful of the white pie topping into his face.

Ted shrugged. "You're entitled to your own opinion. However wrong it is." Ted said, glancing at her sideways he didn't really like the expression that crossed her face. Evil. She must be planning something.

"Yeah, yeah." she said in nonchalant, waving her hand in the air dismissively. "So, how far from Forks? Hopefully I didn't wander too far into the forest."

Ted let out a snort at the wave of her hand and then he narrowed his eyes in concentration to her question. "I'd say.....two more miles. Not that far." He said with a nod of his head.

Kerrigan sighed. "Good. Not that I don't enjoy...hanging out with you. It's just that I need some rest and a nice warm shower after all of that." she said, picking a pine needle from her hair. " I'm sure we will be seeing each other a lot more lately now, as well." Kerrigan smiled, revealing one dimple on her left cheek.
