Kerrigan stared blankly at an old sapling, already bored with her book full of poetry. She usually came out into the woods when she had nothing else to do, and that was often enough. Right now, she was deep in thought, her mind wondering from one place to another, her book laying limply in her hands. She was thinking that she would like to stay in this town; Forks was it's name. It was small and no one bothered her, so that was good. She would have to buy a home soon enough, and move out of that distasteful apartment building she was currently living in.
With a sigh, Kerrigan heaved herself upward and began drifting through the woods. She didn't know where she was going, but that didn't concern her. As long as she was alone with the trees, then she wouldn't mind if she ended up inside a volcano.
When she came upon an old tree stump, she decided to sit down for a while and rest before she headed back into town. Kerrigan sat on the forest floor, and leaned against the stump, set her book down, and closed her eyes in contentment.

Rain walked into the woods looking for a meal. Nakuro was with Alice getting another fitting for their wedding. There was so much Alice was planning for it. She looked down at her beautiful sapphire ring and smiled. She was glad she met Nakuro. All of a sudden when she thought she couldn't find anything she smelt blood and it was delious so Rain walked quietly to where the smell was and saw someone sitting on a stump. She looked peaceful.

Kerrigan's nose twitched and her eyes flashed open. She looked around wearily, searching her surroundings with her eyes. She could have sworn she smelt something, something very pleasant smelling.
Still cautiously looking around, Kerrigan grabbed her book and sat up, turning on the balls of her feet and walking off. She knew someone - or something - was there, but she wasn't sure if it was something she wanted to meet.
Book in hand, she started heading back through the forest, intent on every sound, from a bird chirping, to the snap of a twig beneath her feet.

He was just strolling. He was in the Fork's territory. Free land according to the treaty, so the vampire's couldn't get mad. He was getting tired of just staying in the confines of La Push and the rest of the Peninsula. He wants to travel. But he was apart of the pack, and as long as there were vampires near Forks, then he couldn't leave.
Ted let out a sigh, pulling air back in through his lungs he went rigid. Female vampire....just one....What is she doing alone? he asked himself as he followed the smell, breathing only in tiny increments. No matter how many times he smelt a vampire, it was always the same horrible cold and sickly sweet smell that made his hackles rise. He froze, once again when a human scent mixed with the vampires. What in the world was going on? He could not smell blood in the air and all was silent.
Calm before the storm...
Ted quickened his pace to a jog as he followed the trail, praying that he wouldn't have to attack.

Rain turned and smelt a mutt. He was close but she didn't care. She wanted to find out who this person was. She saw the person and stepped forward slightly so she could be made present. "Hello" she said softly still smelling the mutt. She was used to Jacob, Leah and Seth but not this one this werewolf's smell burned her nose.

Kerrigan turned swiftly on her feet, her eyes wide with suspicion and shock. The powerful, sweet scent wafted around the trees and filled Kerrigan's nose. This was the smell from earlier, and she knew know that it had come form this mysteriously beautiful girl.
Kerrigan's eyes narrowed and she relaxed from her tense position.
"What do you want?" She spat, anxious to leave the forest now that an eerie silence had befallen the area.

It was so fresh the air was still cold from the vampire's passing. Ted let out a small growl as they came into site about two hundred yards in front of him. He then veered off the path and approached in a round about way, never taking his eyes off of the vampire.

Rain kept her eyes low to the ground she forgotten her sunglasses. "I just wanted to know what you are doing here alone in the woods aren't you scared that someone is going to come after you it is dangerous in these woods you know" Rain explained. She listened to the wolf and she could smell that he was close. So she just shook her head so could smell better.

Kerrigan glared at the woman that had presented herself. "Why I am out here is none of your business." She snarled, narrowing her eyes at the beautiful woman that was staring at her feet. "And by what definition is this forest 'Dangerous'? Multiple scratches by a blackberry bush?" Kerrigan said, her tone heavy with sarcasm. "Yeah, I think I'll take my chances." She spat, turning to leave.

Ted had to bite back a laugh because of the human girl's vehemence towards the vampire. It was an unusual reaction, but he was glad to see it. When she turned to leave, however, she faced Ted and he wished he had remembered to bring more than shorts on this expeditionary run. The sight of his half-naked self would probably scare her, but if she saw him, that means the vampire would see him, and would know that if she even tried anything all he had to do was change and then the entire clan (or only those in wolf form) would know of what was happening and would be there extremely fast.

As Kerrigan turned to leave, she stopped in her tracks. There, only twenty yards in front of her, was a dark skinned man wearing only shorts that came up past his knees. The hell?! Was she allowed to be left alone anymore? Did she have to be constantly bothered by others?
"And what do you want?!" She yelled, her anger barreling over. She usually didn't snap at people like this, but she was very ornery today, and she could only handle so much. She could care less about her book now, so she threw it against the forest floor and walked away from the man and woman.
Was this something they did for kicks? Wait in the woods for people to come by and then bother them to the point of death? Kerrigan ground her teeth together in aggravation as she stomped off into the woods, hoping that it was the way back home.

Melinda was standing in the forest looking around, she had lost the way back to the town. She was angry with herself for not paying more attention to her path. So she let herself fall to the ground. She tought after a while she would probably remeber the way back. But she still hoped that someone cames her way.

Thump, thump. Thump, thump. Thump, thump.
Alexandra listened to her heart beat; a steady, calm rythem.
But she wasn't calm at all. She was running away from home, again. Her paws hit the soft dirt. She knew she was in Forks; she could smell a few vampires. But she didn't care. She had nothing against vampires, and neither did her family.
As different thoughts raced through her head, she saw a tree root only a few feet away. She yelped, and tried to skid to a stop. But it was no use, and, with a grunt of irritation, tripped over the root, rolling for a while. She finally slid to a stop. The smell of a vampire, human, and other shapeshifter filled her nostrils.
At the age of 15, Alexandra was a bit ignorant at times. She hadn't payed attention to the different smells around her.
Alexandra leaped up, snarling. She studied the human, vampire, and other shapeshifter. She was completely stiff, looking back and forth between the three.

Kerrigan froze, stock still, as a giant wolf bristled in front of her. With a terrified expression pronounced on her face, she took a shaky step backward. Her heart was hammering out a frantic rhythm in her chest as she stared into the eyes of the monstrous wolf.
She took another step backward, but fell onto her backside. All of her fervor toward the other two was completely forgotten now, having been washed out by naked panic and all out fear.
Then, everything in her mind was chased away by four simple words;
I'm going to die...

Ted shot forward as the human girl fell, positioning himself between the human and the vampire. "You are in no danger. The wolf shall not hurt you." Ted told her his eyes blazing with nothing but the truth. He gazed back at the wolf and wondered who was behind those eyes, yet he could not be sure. There were so many wolves nowadays, it was a constant stream of thoughts at all times of the day.
"Don't worry." He reassured her, still seeing her fear in her eyes and the sound of her thudding heart. "No harm will come."
