Alice gasped and moved like one behind Edward and wrapped her hands securly around Mabel's wrists. She whistled lowly and shrilly and then saw from the corner of her eye Emmett poked his head out from around a Rubicon and then trotted over to them immediately and placed a hand on Mabel's should silently.
"Hey Bill." Emmett said to the salesmen.

Mabel stared, a deer in headlights, as the Cullen's arrived. The thirst was overwhelming, but most of all it was amazing. She couldn't stop the venom from pooling in her mouth and every cell in her body was screaming for her to attack. To kill.
As Emmett touched her shoulder, her hand snapped up and out of Alice's grip without her realizing it. Her fingers curled tightly around his wrist but that was the only muscle she moved. The hunger was getting stronger every moment, and every second she was closer to attacking. Her hand squeezed down hard on Emmett's, creating a small grinding noise, to low for the salesman - Bill - to hear.
"Let me..." Mabel whispered, eyes completely black. She took a step forward. "...Just one taste..." The monster was screaming and thrashing inside of her now, ordering for her to move. It was ripping from it's mental prison that she had spent so many years to create, breaking down her iron walls like flimsy Styrofoam. She had never felt something so powerful before. She had never smelt something so delicious, or had tasted this mouthwatering scent on the breeze. This man was going to be hers.

Emmett kept his face passive of any pain he might feel from the destruction Mabel was having on his wrist. His hand gripped her shoulder in response and he tugged her backwards, into his chest where he wrapped his other arm around her shoulders and rested his head on his hands. Almost like an embrace.
"No Mabel." He growled in her ear. "You eat the human and we will be forced to destroy you." He said no less quiet but the gruffiness was out of his voice. He knew if they could get the Mabel that was practically salivating over the Mustang back, then they would be ok.

The monster was growing stronger with every breath, ripping to the surface. Mabel could do nothing but watch as her darker side took hold of the reins. Her growl grew into a vicious snarl and she coiled to spring, ignoring Emmett's hold around her shoulders. She couldn't help the almost magnetic pull the human had for her, and she could almost hear his blood singing.
And then the wind picked up, blowing the delicious scent away. She almost cried at the loss of the smell but she relaxed a bit, her gaze still darkened with the blood lust. Mabel was somewhat in the driver's side once again, but was having to deal with a very aggressive backseat driver. The only problem was that she agreed with what the monster was telling her to do. She wanted to turn left, even though she knew the right thing to do was go right. She had agreed to try this animal diet lifestyle, but one more kill wouldn't matter, right? And even though her dream car was sitting only a few paces away, it wasn't hers yet. Did that mean the deal wasn't in place?
Mabel stood, her head buzzing from the scent that she could still feel on the back of her tongue, frozen with her internal dilemma. What to do, what to do.
