Rain was getting tired of Alice bugging her about the different dress changes she wanted to find the perfect color to match her eyes. She walked out of Alice's and Jasper's room and bumped into jasper. "Your wife is driving me crazy" she told him.
"I'm sorry about that" Jasper replied. He could tell that Rain was starting to get stressed and she must have missed Nakuro.
"Where's Nakuro?" Rain asked him. Jasper just shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know.

Svet skipped up the stairs, spinning a Rubix cube in her hands, she solved it as she passed Rain and Jasper. She spun the cub on her finger looking at the six sided cube. "Its so fun." She commented to them before she passed her eyes over Rain. "Alice must be getting on your nerves again." She said in a whisper.
"I think Nakuro is somewhere out in the woods, hiding from Alice." She said with a smile.

Rain nodded. "She is getting on my nerves Svet, your so lucky your not getting married to Rylynn yet" she said and shook her head. "That is a better place to hide rather then having Jasper to protect me" she said and look at the Rubix cube. "Dang Svet even in my human years I could never figure that out" she said.
Jasper glared at Rain. "It's working right now isn't it. She is looking for you in Port Angeles at the dress shop because of what I sent her" he said to Rain.

Svet bit her lip. She was having second thoughts about him, but she'd never mentioned it and successfully kept it from Edward or Alice. She sighed feeling dirty again she tossed the cube into the air and caught it again. "It just takes patience." She said with a forced smile.
"well have fun." She said with a small smile as she walked down the hallway to her room. She didn't bother shutting or locking the door because the point was moot in a house full of vampires. She laid down on the bed, messing up the Cube again and then she started spinning the sides, solving the Cube in five minutes.

"Which I don't have" Rain replied. "Oh yeah so much fun" Rain said rolling her eyes. Rain just wanted a small wedding not some big event. Her parents aren't even going to be there and who knows what RObert is going to do. "Why can't your wife understand that I want a small wedding not a big one" Rain asked Jasper. Jasper just shook his head and said "I don't know"

Edward leaned in the doorway and answered from experience.
"Same reason she wouldn't take no from me and Bella. Trust me Rain, in the end, you'll thank her for it."
He looked to Jasper with a small smile. "It's why you love her..right Jasper?"

Svet listened to them talking down the hallway as her eyes rested on the ring sparkling on her finger. Her eyes grew heavy and her face contorted. She just....... She bit into her lips and pulled it off. It just wasn't true anymore.
She watched as the ring arched across the room and landed nearly silently in one of her lazy boys. She could still see it, burning a hole in her head. Why can't it be like them? She was nearly screaming in her mind. Why do I have to be so different and damaged?

Edward closed his eyes for just a moment. Svets thoughts screamed to him from down the hallway though he was sure she had not meant to let him hear them.
He saw the scene before her, and in his mind, he watched the ring glow from the chair. Before he met Bella hadn't he too wondered when he was going to feel like Carlisle had felt about Esme? Even Rose and Em...Jas and Alice. Everyone had found their perfect someone..except him.
His mind went back to a dark night in Denali. Hadn't he almost given in to Tanya? Hadn't he almost settled on something so he wouldn't have to be alone anymore? He knew Svet would never believe him if he told her that he knew how she felt...he would just have to find a way to show her. He also knew that she would rather eat a cheeseburger than to know he knew her thoughts...much less that everyone knew.
He opened his eyes again and focused them on Jasper, waiting on that certain look he had sometimes when he spoke of Alice.

Nakuro skirted the side of the house, I am going to go talk to Jake, I am going to go talk to Jake. He kept deciding, his hopes of throwing Alice off his trail. He hadn't seen Rain all day and he didn't like it. He climbed up the side of the house keeping his chant up as he came in their bed room window, he threw his hands around Rain without any preamble. "I think she would have given Stalin a run for his money." He said with a faint chuckle.
"I am sorry I have been away, Rain-kun. I got away from her as soon as I could." Nakuro apologized, only then did he realize Jasper and Edward were their too. "Kon nichiwa, Jasper-kun, Edward-kun."

Edward smiled a crooked smile to Nakuro, pressed his palms together and gave a small bow to him. "Kon nichiwa" my friend...and...nice try with the Jake thing, though I have to tell you..it doesn't work often."
As if on cue, Edward's sleek silver phone rang in his pocket and he rolled his eyes.
"That would be Alice." He looked to Jasper. "I don't know why she doesn't call you."
To prove it, he held the phone up and shook it after looking at the number on the front.
He answered on the fourth very plain very soft ring.
"Hello Alice."

Nakuro smiled at him and shrugged. "I try...she can't get mad at me for wanting to see my fiancee." He replied resting his head on Rain's shoulder. His eyes grew slightly wide as Edward revealed who was calling him. He looked at the man with a pleading expression. Help me out, he was asking.

Edward nodded to Nakuro.
"No...no I havn't seen him....sneaking in the window? I'll....I'll try to stop him......really I don't see how that could ruin the......ok...ok I'll try.......of course I'm not lying to you Alice.....why would I lie to you?."
He hung up the phone and looked to Jasper.
"You're lying to her next time."
Moving his golden gaze back to Nakuro he smiled. "You're safe for now but she's on her way."

"Fine I'll lie to her next time, but she'll never believe me" Jasper said to Edward. He also watched as Rain jumped a little when Nakuro wrapped his arms around her.
"Why couldn't you hold her off Edward, I love Alice to death but she is so crazy when it comes to parties" Rain said and laid her head on his shoulder and kissed his cheek. "Let us know when she is coming so we can run and does she think Nakuro is going to see the dress or something?" Rain asked.
"I have no clue maybe, you know how traditional Alice has to be, at least with our wedding we didn't know any body so it was small. I'm gonna go and distract her now" Jasper said walking away but stopping as soon as he felt Alice's frustrations. "Guys you can't hide."

Edward watched as Jasper moved to the door and knew he was telling the truth about Alice.
"He's right. She's close so if you're going to make a break you'd better do it now."
He forced a smile and nodded to Rain and Nakuro.
"Just remember what I said, you'll thank her later for the wedding. I promise."

Nakuro cursed himself, he wasn't thorough enough in hiding his trail and she saw him climbing in the window. He nodded gratefully at Edward. "I normally would not ask you to lie to your own family, but under these circumstances..." He trailed off as his arms tightened around Rain. "Come, darling, let's go visit the wolves." He said with a small smile as he led Rain to the window, although slightly hastily, if Jasper could already feel her frustration.
Svet then appeared at the doorway, her expression was blank as she waited for Alice. "Alice, there is a rip in that new blouse you got me!" She called.
