"No, you just broke my nose." she said, feigning sadness as she stuck out her lower lip. "And you're paying for my medical bills." Kerrigan couldn't keep up her innocently injured facade at the end, and broke into a wide grin.

"I wh- n--really?" He stammered, his hands half extended to check her face. He didn't see any bruising and it looked just fine to him, and no blood. He then saw her grin break out. He glared at her, one of his hands turned into a pointing finger. "That was not a bit funny at all."

Kerrigan giggled, shoving his pointed finger out of her face. "Is was very funny." she mused, "You really should have seen the look on your face. It was priceless." she said, quoting the last sentence from the time he had told her the same thing. She took a few steps back, just in case dog boy decided on a surprise attack.

Ted glared, extracting his fingers from her grip he kept up his glare. "I so did not accuse you of hurting me though." He said, seeing her back away from him, he sent a few volleys of water towards her with a vengeance.

Kerrigan laughed, spitting water from her mouth. She backed away even more, holding her arms up in an attempt to shield her face as Ted splashed numerously. The back of her heel caught onto something hard, probably a rock, and she fell back. As the water rushed around her, she closed her eyes and covered her mouth with her hand. Just don't move, and you will be fine, she thought to herself, even though the hysteria was slowly creeping to the surface.

Ted grinned, advanced on her, keeping up his attack. He saw her foot catch some drift wood sticking out of the sand and saw her fall under. He wondered faintly why she just didn't stand up, they weren't in that deep of water, she should be able to stand up. But he watched as she just held still... He moved to her side and took hold of her wrists and pulled her above water looking down at her, "Are you alright?" He asked slowly.

Strong, warm hands wrapped around her wrists and she was pulled from under the water. When her head broke the surface, she gasped for air, holding onto Ted as if she would fall again. "Are you alright?" He asked slowly, looking down on her. Her face heated with a blush and she looked away. "Yeah," she breathed, wiping the wet hair from her face. She knew something like this would happen... How embarrassing.

She was a soft little thing, he realized as she clung to him. And she obviously didn't know how to swim. Or she was scared of drowning. That much was a little obvious. "Maybe into the shallower water?" He asked in a softer tone.

Kerrigan rolled her eyes, acting arrogant in order to try and distract him from her little episode. "You make it sound like I'm a two year old that needs to stay in the kitty pool." she said, sending a small splash his way.

"If you want to be treated like a toddler, all you got to do is say so. Then I'd make you get out of the water so you don't cramp up from that pizza you ate." He said narrowing his eyes at her with a small smile.

Kerrigan narrowed her eyes as well, except there wasn't a smile. "And if you ever did treat me like a toddler, than I would make sure to actually act like one." she said, smiling at the end. "I would follow you around calling you Teddy bear, I would kick and scream when you would make me eat my vegetables, I would embarrass you in front of your friends saying that I needed to go potty while dancing around, I would play with my food and I am positively certain that it would end up in your hair." she said, laughing fully at the end.

Ted nearly doubled over in laughter as he actually saw her doing stuff like that. It took him a moment to get control of himself. "That would be the most hilarious thing ever." He snickered. "But you so do not have the permission to call me Teddy bear." He said through narrowed eyes.

Kerrigan smiled evilly, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Oh, I wasn't planning on it. But now that you have mentioned it, I think it suits you. I mean, you can be big and fuzzy, and I am sure you are quite hug-gable." she snickered. "Come on, Teddy Bear. I think your pizza is calling." she laughed, trudging through the water back to their 'camp site.'

"Oh you are just sooo funny." Ted growled, sending a wave at her. He followed her back to their spot and dropped down onto the towel, shaking out his hair he grabbed a new piece of pizza.

Kerrigan laid back on her towel, relishing the feeling of the sun warming her skin. She opened one eye and gave a sideway glance at Ted when she heard the shuffle of plastic wrap. Ted was unwrapping another piece of pizza.
Kerrigan snorted, closing her eyes again. "I've only had one piece and you've had...seven? You know I was only joking when I said I heard your pizza calling." she said shaking her head. "But you do have better hearing than me." she giggled, taking a sip of her soda before closing her eyes again.
