Alessia crossed the street towards the small park on the other side, her big black boots splashing through the ever-present puddles on the street. She gave this town one thing; it sure had a great appeal for daytime loving Vampires. It rained more here than anywhere else Alessia had ever lived. And she was usually constantly on the move. There weren't many places she hadn't seen. Other than the constant cover of rain, Alessia had to admit to herself, there wasn't much here. She sighed and flopped quietly onto a bench. She leaned back into the corner and propped her legs up on the other end of the bench, her boots slinging off droplets of leftover rain.
Propping her chin in her hand, Alessia's eyes took in everything around her. A few humans were scattered about, most in groups, scurrying off on one errand or another. So far Alessia had not caught the scent of another Vampire. She was still tense about coming out during the day, it wasn't something she was used to. Not to mention, she had caught a very peculiar scent on her way over here. It was faint, but something she had never smelled before. Kind of like a wet dog smell. Alessia's initial thought was Werewolves, but that was ridiculus. Why would there be so many Vampires in this town if Werewolves were that close?
Lost in thought, Alessia didn't hear something or soemone approaching her. Which was unusual to her; she usually was well aware of her surroundings. Catching the scent, she whipped her head to the left, already glaring at the intruder.

((Sure!! )) Alessia's already narrowed eyes became slits as danger set in around her. That scent.... it was unnatural. Alessia moved, probably quicker than she should considering she was supposed to be human, swinging her legs to the ground and standing, taking a casual yet defensive posture; she had to remember there were humans present. With a quick sweep of her eyes she saw that nobody besides the Indian girl even noticed her. Alessia turned her eyes back to the strange girl. Sneering slightly, she suppressed a hiss. "I don't like surprises." She snarled. As Alessia's eyes took in the girls scars, she became even more defensive. The girls' question was dis-concerning to her... how did this girl know what Alessia was, when she herself was clearly not a Vampire? Raising her chin a fraction, she addressed the girls' question. "What makes you think my diet is any concern of yours?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

I'm a shape shifter wolf that's why and it is our responsibility to protect humans from vampires but now I see I don't have to hurt you cause you hunt animals like the Cullens she whispered so no humans could hear

'Shape-shifter?' Alessia thought to herself. She made a mental note to research this more throughly. Keeping her slightly rigid posture, she shifted her feet. Alessia had realized she had been still for too long. 'I have to at least try to appear human.' She thought. "How can you tell I don't hunt humans?" She asked curtly. "And what, or who exactly, are the Cullen's?"
Alessia's mind was racing. What exactly had she walked into in this town? She let her eyes sweep again over the girl. 'What kind of town has shape-shifters and Vampires?' she wondered silently as she waited for the girls' answers to her questions.

Rain was walking in town looking for something Blue and something new for her wedding when she caught the smell of wolf and vampire and she also over heard Cullen so she walked over to them causally. She put her sunglasses up so they couldn't see her eyes or look into the but she figure oh well and took them down or well on top of her head. She noticed the vampire had gold eyes so she wouldn't hurt anyone in the town. They probably wouldn't of thought she was since her eyes were blue. ((Is it ok if i join also))

Alessia nodded. Her eyes. Figures. Humans hardly noticed her eyes because humans hardly ever approached her; they automatically sensed danger and shied away. Always a good thing for humans around Alessia; sometimes she fell off the 'vegetarian' wagon. Although Alessia could hear the girls' heart, she had no desire whatsoever about going for her blood. One, it might scare the few humans that were about. Two, the smell was just disgusting. She couldn't imagine what the blood would taste like. She suppressed a shudder of unpleasantness. Alessia was proud of herself; she hadn't tasted human blood in over two years. Self-control was necessary, but hard. Absentmindedly, Alessia wondered if these Cullen's could help her understand these strange Shape-shifters in this town.
"Where could I find these Cullen's?" Alessia asked, glancing around as if one of them would actually appear from behind the trees. "And how many of them are there?" Alessia felt uncomfortable talking to a girl that she didn't even know, one that sent danger warnings up and down Alessia's back. Alessia wasn't used to feeling this way, and she didn't like it.

Rain walked closer to the two girls. She heard the vampire ask where she could find the Cullen's. "I know where they are and there is about 12 or more in our household" She said keeping her head down so they wouldn't look in her eyes and fall in love with her. "I've got it from here. It's ok" Rain said to the wolf not knowing if she would back down or not.

Alessia's head whipped around to the newcomer and she suppressed a startled hiss. Her eyes sweeped over the new girl; clearly Vampire. Alessia did not relax her posture a bit, but she had a tiny part of her happy that someone her kind was near; the whole Shape-shifter thing freaked her out, especially since she didn't know much about it.
Then Alessia's mind grasped what the new girl had said. "Twelve?" Alessia choked out between her teeth. Her mind was racing. 'A coven of twelve? I've witnessed at the most four Vampires in a coven.... but twelve? It must be a powerful coven of some sort.' A part of worry touched Alessia. Again, the question of what she had walked into raced through her mind. Were they trying to build up a Volturi-type coven? Alessia's eyes darted to the Indian girl then back to the new girl. "They must be a powerful coven." Alessia hedged cautiously, echoing part of her thoughts. She was trying not to reveal her all of her thoughts while also getting information about these Cullens.

"Yes twelve. ANd please don't look into my eyes or you could fall in love with me. I hate wearing my sunglasses. A lot of them come to us for help because they want to change their human eating ways or just because they don't eat humans" Rain said to the girl walking closer to them.
