Kerrigan rolled her eyes at Ted. "Don't embarrass me!' she hissed quietly, giving a sidelong glace to the others. She nodded when he introduced them and gave a short wave. "Hi." she said simply.

Ted nodded at her knowingly. "Right." He grinned faintly. "I'll try not too." He told her in confidence. Sam trotted up to them.
"You came! It's good to see you Kerrigan, did you like the window? We didn't wake you, did we? We tried to be silent, but Quil stuck his hand and well... it did get rather silly." Sam chuckled faintly.

Kerrigan looked to Ted with a raised brow. "Actually, I didn't even know you were there. I guess Ted wanted me to think he did it all by himself." she said looking back to Sam. "But, yeah. I like the window...thanks."

"I didn't exactly have time to really explain it." Ted replied in his defense. "Someone threw a hammer at me."
Sam bit his lip to stop his laugh. "I hope you didn't do too much damage to the boy," Sam chuckled faintly, "there's already a lot messed up about his head."

Kerrigan snorted, stopping a giggle in it's tracks. "I understand that all too well." she said, elbowing Ted in the ribs. She smiled up at him, hoping that she was forgiven and then looked back to Sam. "Uh, thanks for yesterday..." she said, avoiding eye contact. She knew she told Ted she didn't want to talk about yesterday here, but she thought that Sam needed to be thanked for what he did.

Sam's smile slowly faded as she thanked him. He shook his head faintly and put a hand on her shoulder. "No need to thank me." He said seriously. "Its my job to look after my family."
Ted bit his lip as he tried to think of a way to defuse the serious situation and he settled for the subtle way, and picked Kerrigan up bridal style and carried her over to the bonfire, to where the food was cooking and were Billy Black and the Ted's own relative, (forget his name) Ateara. Ted smiled warmly at the two men and set Kerrigan on her feet and then introduced them.

Kerrigan was stunned to silence as she looked at Sam, her brows quirking together. Family? He considered her...family? She opened her mouth to speak but Ted scooped her up and carried her to the other's around the fire. "Ted!" she whisper-yelled. "Put me down!"
He returned her to her feet and she sent him a quick glare. He introduced her to Billy and (forget his name), and she gave a quiet hello before sitting in the sand. She could smell the hot dogs and her stomach gave a quiet rumble. She was sure everyone, except for the specific few, could hear it better than she could, so she blushed.

Ted grinned faintly at Kerrigan and shrugged his shoulders at Billy and his 'knowing smirk'. Ted sat down next to her with a smile still on his face. "Having fun?" He asked her, leaning close just because he could. He played with a few strands of her hair and then sighed when her stomach rumbled. His did as well.
"You and me both." He muttered to Kerrigan with a bright smile.

Kerrigan smiled. "Then don't just sit there! Get us some hotdogs." she said. She looked around, seeing that no one was staring directly at them and gave him a quick kiss. "Fetch!" she said and laughed.

Ted chuckled at her. "Everyone eats at once, sweetie." He told her and then his eyes narrowed at her at her dog reference. "You better watch it." He warned playfully.

Kerrigan raised her brow. "Or what, Teddy Bear?" she asked and snorted a laugh. "You gonna slobber on me?" Kerrigan giggled and wiped away an imaginary tear, playing it up.

"I'd do exactly that. And bark, and climb into your lap, nudge your head, whimper, beg for food. And if I really think you deserve it, I'll change forms and then repeat steps one through five." He turned to her smirking with his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

Kerrigan narrowed her eyes and scooted a few inches away from him. "I'll pass," she said, crossing her arms in front of her. "I wouldn't want you to degrade yourself." a small smile played at her lips but she tried to contain it.

Ted's eyes narrowed at her as his lips puckered slightly. He let a playful growl escape his throat as he crouched to pounce on her.
A solid wooden spoon thwacked him right on the crown of his head. He didn't need to turn to see who had hit him. Only Emily used a wooden spoon as punishment.
"No play-wrestling so close to the fire." Emily warned him. "Or anywhere on the beach. At night, or during the day. No play-wrestling in my line of sight either."

Kerrigan crossed her arms in front of her and smirked, her brow raised. "I need to get one of those," she said with a laugh. "Thank you, Emily." she said, a smile on her face.
