Rain really missed Nakuro so she wanted to wait for him and see if she could see him. She just sat down on the ground and then she smelt something that smelt so yummy. She had to get it. Then her thoughts went to her brother Robert. She smelt the animal get closer or was it an animal it smelt human. "Calm yourself Rain" she said out loud.

Elizabeth looked up frightened, sensing something as she read this intriguing book deep in the forest. Walking forward she decided it was nothing, her over-active imagination she thought, since she had just been reading a sci-fi book. Plopping herself back down on the ground she smiled warmly as she saw a young deer and its mother at the edge of small pool of water that had gathered during the wet night.

Rain then smelt the two deer. 'Yum those smell good. But what's that other smell' She walked near the other smell ignoring the two deer. She could feel her icy eyes darken to navy blue.

Elizabeth gasped, this time she did hear something, the trees started to look strangely mysterious. Thats when she saw the vampire, a sight she had not seen for over 60 years.

Nakuro walked through the forest in a speedy walk, not so fast as a jog, but it wasn't a walk either. He had to help Svet with something, that's why he was late at meeting Rain in the forest. He hoped she hadn't been waiting long. Time just seemed to move fast in the little Fork's town.
He caught her scent by a tree and followed it at a faster speed, coming up behind Rain and someone else, Nakuro slid behind a tree before they noticed, without making a single sound, he listened intently to what was going on.

"I'm hunting" Rain said then she smelt Nakuro, but she was fixed on the person in front of her. She could taste the venom in her mouth as she stared at the person in front of her. She was glad Nakuro was here maybe he could help her.

"What's going on here?" He asked in a voice suggested he would cause some problems if he got the wrong answer. It was a tone he had probably used once in his entire life. Nakuro hated confrontation like this, but from what he saw, Rain could possibly be in danger, and there was absolutely no way he would allow that to ever happen.

"Something smells so good and I think it's her" Rain said and pointed to the girl. Her eyes were darken, she needed food badly and this person was her food source.

Nakuro sniffed the air around them, catching her scent. "It is strange... but it is a vampire. She should know the rules..." Nakuro mumbled, although his face was still a mask. "We should just go elsewhere to hunt--farther away from town."

"But they smell good" Rain said not even trying to control her hunger. She walked closer to the person and then she smelled that she was vampire but still delious smelling. "I smell more of them" she said. The only part Rain hated about being a newborn was how good the humans smelt.

Nakuro put a hand on her, stopping her from moving. "Honey, we eat animals. Not humans." He said in a quiet voice. He would hate having to restrain her again but they had chosen to feast on animals instead of humans when they moved here.

Rain snapped out of it and tried to find a animal smell but she was still following the human scent. She wanted to run after the smell she didn't want to hurt his family. "I'm so thirsty though" she said. She knew she could take him since she was still a newborn. "I hate being a newborn" she said to him and started to walk as quickly as she could to the smell. Then she caught another smell but it was a different smell. "Bear" she said. It mixed with the human smell so it was delicious.

Nakuro watched her warily. Out of all of them, Jasper included, she had a hard time sticking to the strictly animal diet. But Nakuro didn't hold it against her, because he knew she was trying her best. "Let's go get the bear then." He said taking her hand with a smile.
