so, I couldn't help but notice that in new moon they discovered bella was immune to all the vampires extra abilities, yet in twilight she wasn't immune to jaspers emotion control... I haven't read eclipse yet though, so if they explain that there go ahead and tell Me I'm an idiot, but if not...  |

Well Alice's power works on her as well. I think that it might be only certain powers, concerning the mind.

I figured that was just because its... wait, I figured it out, it's because jasper and alices powers aren't direct, jaspers is just like an aura, but wait!!!... so is edwards!!! omg lol, oh and to your comment about it just being mental things, wasn't that little girls power in new moon in italy not mental? she could just like torture or something? wouldn't that be more physical ?

Bella isn't effected by powers that directly concern the mind, her mind. Jane's, Edward's, and Aro's powers don't work on her because they directly effect the mind. But that other guy (who can feel someone's bond bewteen people) and Jasper and Alice's powers don't effect her mind directly.
Does that make sense or did I just confuse everyone?

I know this has absolutly nothing to do with the topic we are on but I can't help but wonder. Do you think that Bella (once she is a vampire) will be prettier than Rosalie?

i dont think that bella will be prettier than rosalie bcuz thats kind of rosalie's special abilty.. beauty.. well i really hope that bella turns vampire finally in the 4th book bcuz the 3rd one leaves u hanging

bella is immune to powers that have to fo with the mind. kind of like her mind is protected. in italy janes powers are in the mind. they give you an illusion sort of. she is immune to mind powers. jasper and alice's abilities arent directed to the mind. it explains it all i think at the end of the 3rd book b4 she goes to go c jacob in la push.

I don't think that Bella's physical features will change that much, maybe just more refined. What I want to know is what Bella's special abilities will be when she becomes a vamp. :>

I have yet to read Eclipse & Breaking Dawn but I did glance at the Vampire Index in the back of Breaking Dawn! Bella was marked as having a super power though I don't know what...
I totally get that Bella is immune to powers that affect the mind, what I don't get is why/how. But it's all so thrilling!!!

I read all 4, well i only have like 5 chapters left of Breaking Dawn, but still. lol, You'll find out what happens to Bella and i dont think you'll be disappointed. i cant tell you what will happen because then id be a spoiler and i dont want to do that. Just read the books and see for yourselves.

OK.Bella's mined is sort of privet. So only powers that don't have to do with the mined can work on her.  |
