I liked Beaking Dwan, it was pretty good. It disgusted me though when Renesmee broke out of Bella, it made my stomach churn. Big surprise when Jacob imprinted on Renesmee!

A lot of my friends didn't like Breaking Dawn as much the other books.. but I'm the opposite. I think it still has the same feel to it even if it seemed a little rushed or missing some major details. Getting to know Bella, Edward, Jacob and the rest of the characters in the Twilight series has been amazing also seeing them grow and mature is beautiful. A great series, a beautiful ending, a book i'll never forget.

I think it wasn't as good because it didn't ave many of those little moments between the characters. It was all very rush rush rush.

I agree, it will be a book I'll never forget. For good and bad, it was still the ending to one of the greatest book series! Its sad that its over, now I have to find other books to read! But Breaking Dawn has finally started to grow on me, there are parts I still don't like, but I'm starting to like the book as a whole.

I loved the book, however I do believe that the end of it was a little TOO perfect. I also thought that there could have been a lot more done with the Volturi. I expected at least a little more action, but otherwise, it was a great book.
I also wonder if Jake and Bella had worked out, and they had a kid, I wonder if Jake would have imprinted of their kid? I think it would have been a possibility.

I really liked BD. But I think that all four books are tied. =) I love zem all.
Okay, what I think:
I thought that having a half vampire baby was kind of weird...and then I totally was surprised with Jake imprinting on Nessie. It was so unexpected. I like the name Carlie better for Renesme. =) I feel so bad for Jake in the beginning of the book. He was so...alone you know? And the separation of the pack was weird too.
I thought that Bella's power was okay. I was expecting more, but it seemed fit enough. But all in all I liked BD.
EDIT: I also forgot to add that I absolutely loved the last two pages of BD. My absolute favorite part of the entire series. =)

I liked breaking dawn when I first read it. Jacobs_Imprint told me that I might hate it the ffirst time I read it but i didn't. I saw a lot of Foreshadowing with Bella and he dreams and it shocked me when I read that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. But I hated the ending.

Ok well I thought it was the best book out of all of them but I think it was lacking the action.. Which I was upset by that... Tell you the truth I was kinda hoping Bella would be kill at the end of Jacob.. ( I KNOW I KNOW THAT IS TERRIBLE! But it would cause something good to happen! Like Edward getting depressed going to Italy and everything!lol) And I was BAWLING tears when Alice left.. I got soo worried! But when she came back I was soo happy! But I don't like the whole 3 books thing.. I mean reading Book 2 Jacob was REALLY interesting! Like to see how the pack worked and stuff like that but I agree with Bella's first post Breaking Dawn was missing something that all of the other books had.

I have to agree with a lot of the things being said here.
First off I kind of dislike Edward and Bella with a child mostly because it doesn't seem like Edward should be an Incubus. I looked up Incubus on google once a while ago out of boredom and it's defined as a male vampire demon who drains it's victims of energy by intense love making(and can of course father children). And I am aware that Stephanie's vampires are totally different but I could not shake this feeling.
Plus the pregnancy, its difficult for me to explain myself here but I just didn't like it. I had been spoiled by a google Twilight avatar search while still on Eclipse about the baby and I for some reason did not have the pregnancy/birth pictured being so gruesome and horrible. My mom who is still reading it even says that it can make you think twice about having a baby despite that a pregnancy can of course never really be like that.
And don't get me started on Jacob's portion. I could write an essay on why I dislike him, but basically I thought he was selfish, immature and prejudice in his love for Bella. He ticked me off a lot in Eclipse. So being actually inside his mind in this book was just burying me deeper in hell. in his entire section I felt he had a 'woe is me' pouting attitude when it's like You were WAY too late, Edward was first and she's chose him GET THE HELL OVER IT! And his imprint on Renesmee, ok I am sorry but despite the circumstances and the whole imprint concept I think it is sick to love someone and then move on to their child. So that did not settle well with me. Plus in Eclipse I had wanted her to get rid of Jacob but she was just way to nice to him despite what he had put her through.
I also agree with this statement:
first of all By the way, Spider, random but my mom agrees with you on the name, she can't stand the name Renesmee. Anyway...
When I got spoiled about there being a baby I'd had Edward pictured being the same sweet, overprotective, tender father as he has always been a lover to Bella. It disappointed me when he was none of that, I think that he was a great deal out of character in this book altogether. He hated on himself way too much especially after the first time they 'wrestled' I was just as hurt as she was when he refused to acknowledge that she was happy, and it had been the most amazing night of her life. And then the whole thing with the pregnancy. I understand the dire situation and the difficulty of watching the one he loves dying, but he is supposed to value what makes her happy and although he of course he proves to still care about that by not fighting her to abort, he pretty much moped in his continued self hate through the whole thing. I thought his attitude had changed a lot more than it actually ended up when he heard the fetus for the first time and began to rub her stomach like a true father. They say a woman becomes a mother when she becomes pregnant and a man becomes a father when he sees his baby or in Edward's case hears. But although he was very cheered up, he did not end up becoming the father he should have, the father the old Edward that we all fell in love with would have. I was very, very, very disappointed about this. I LOVE Edward to death but he was just not the same Edward we all fell for in the original book. He needed daddy classes hehe. Now there is something that would have been interesting, a conversation between Edward and Carlisle about his coming into fatherhood. Which brings me to a point I almost forgot, I really would have loved to see the pregnancy from Edward's perspective. I was really interested in knowing what was going through his mind when he discovered that he could hear the fetus and his reaction when he first saw the baby. I would have much preferred to know his mindset over Jacob. Then as I said there could have been a father to expectant father conversation between him and Carlisle, perhaps on Bella's request upon her noticing his attitude. I could picture her asking Carlisle to talk to him most likely after he hears the baby would be an appropriate place. Maybe it wouldn't work I am not sure but for some reason now I kind of think some kind of conversation between them would have been interesting. I think the story could have been much more interesting with these different aspects.
Although I did enjoy the third portion quite a bit; I loved Bella's kick ass shield pretty much single handedly defeat the volturi since they are basically purely mental weapons. Regardless I didn't like her as a vampire quite as much other than that because part of the reason we fell in love with Edward and Bella's relationship was her fragility and thus need for Edward's tender protection and handling. It was the biases, and main point of the first book and to me being a hopeless romantic, it was terribly terrible sweet. I loved that about the relationship and that is part of the Edward I and other Edward fans so dearly love. The relationship was very different once she was changed, it was not as tender and romantic.
To conclude I thought it was very slow. I kept wondering when the heck the baby was coming, it started to seem like she was going to be pregnant through pretty much the entire book. And what is the deal with her editors wanting her to dull it down? What the hell? I don't get that.
Anyway I would have to say that this book is my least favorite in the series.

I liked it so much but the part that i didn't get was that at first when Bella was pregnant with Renesmee Edward was all like ' it's ok i'm going to get rid of it Bella' then all the sudden after the kid is born Edward was all like ' I'm not going to destroy Renesmee' I mean i don't get that part at all but it was my favorite book of all time is The Host I loved that book so much! Srry i am used 2 getting off task im in my txting version again i don't mean 2 but sometimes i just go from normal typing 2 txt form. But like i said The Host is my personal favorite book by Stephenie Meyer i hope she writes more 2 that book i mean don't just stop right there tell us more about Wanderer and Ian and how they worked out together did they break up of stay together forever until they died? I mean u got 2 admit they do that sometimes leave us hanging while tey write other stuff other than that book that they r reading. It's pathetic. Bye

I liked breaking dawn however I didnt at the same time. I was shocked when Jacob Imprinted on Renesme. Also If when they got married would renesme be able to have a baby? and another thing. I hated the ending! It was basicially the Volturi ran away scared and then bella and Edward do it. The end. It was too Boring. I also thought the book lacked something. I dont know what it was though... I defenitely think Stephanie Should wright another book going on abotu Jacob and Renesme. I would love to see what happens to them.
Alltogether I liked it!

I cant help but feel like does love like this truly exist. i know this may seem silly to you but when have you ever heard of someone having such an attraction to another. I know Edward is a vampire an she's a human but it's like they're attracted to each others minds. Kind of ironic.lol since Edward cant read Bella's mind.. anywhoo i just love love love breaking dawn the fact that not only shes gets to marry this if you will man who is way beyond gorgeous but she has her desire come true by becoming a vampire and spending eternity with her love and soo much more by renesme coming into the world it may not have been the way she wanted it or pictured it happening... i dont think she pictured herself pregnant at all to be honest. i hope renesme is gorgeous just like Stephanie describes in the book. I don't know that Edward was really OK with renesme being in the world like she was even after everything turned out OK for Bella. i think that maybe it ruined his plan of trying to convince her not to change. but everything turned out OK. Maybe there will be another book added showing Edwards and bellas relationship with renesme and not just Bella's relationship with renesme.
